i signed it as soon as i heard about it. i really hope there’s a way to save the game. i know it’s more wishful thinking than anything but this game means a lot to me, and to other players as well. the simpsons is my favorite show of all time and having a game where i can make my own unique town is such a fun idea. i’ve been playing ever since the days of your progress not saving when you would close out the game. i don’t wanna see it go anywhere

Someone dug up an article, it's ending due to a 20 year deal between EA and Fox that started 2005 coming to and end. People are working on private, fan-made servers though, bu that's most likely our only hope.

Idk if this is the reason, they're cancelling tsto. I heard season 36 might be the last season of the iconic series. If so, maybe as long as the series is on air, they're allowed to keep the game going. Or maybe Disney took the rights away from Ea games. Since Disney bought fox studios they own the Simpsons.

I bet we're probably going to get a Simpson's tap out 2 also to add on to that I found a way to get infinite doughnuts first to use god's ability to get 777777 coins then I buy as many doughnuts as I can of it then I can turn god's ability back on then I can skip it and then I when I buy the doughnuts back I'll get more and I mean like another 300 more it means you can buy literally everything and get any space

yea, what I've been doing is getting bonus xp decorations, the one that works best is the Christmas totem in Taps p.1(2.50%) for 10 donuts. because of this my bonus % is around 6,500% so I get around 50,000,000 every time I collect God :)

If u just try to buy doughnuts with no money u can buy the money u need for les than you are buying -> u can buy 1600 for i think 800 doughnuts

@@breakfast_man2 i know, but just try to buy the 1600 doughnuts with ingame money. Even if you haven no ingame money u will need to pay les doughnuts for the money than doughnuts you are getting. If don´t have a lot doughnuts u just need to start with the lesser packs and build up to the 1600 pack

Very unlikely, we don’t know how server based that game is, if it’s a lot we cooked… + No one has the Server Data only the Game data, and making your own Server data basically means to start from scratch… and that is hard very hard.

I'd rather have Tapped Out 2. Iv been playing TSTO for 11 years and have over 500 characters and most everything good. I think its time for something new. Technology has improved and maybe we get an improved game with more buildability.

Nintendo takes a different approach with Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. They are going to release a version of the game that does not rely on their servers but works as a standalone application. A one time payment. You can transfer a lot of your old game to the new when linked to your Nintendo account. They will be releasing new content through updates. Can't EA do the same?

I get the show has died down a little bit the last few years but nonethless a franvhise of this size, with international awards and ciritcal acclaim and the longest running animated series of all time as well grossing billions making it one of the highest grossing feanchises you'd thi k they'd have more games wouldnt you? But then we all know how greedy ea are and plus the fact that they like to make money from other more reliable soruces (like fc 25)

Unfortunately, it can't be saved. The licensing fees, updates, and hosting costs are too high. Unless, by some miracle, a major tech company strikes a deal with EA and Fox to take over the game, there’s no chance. And even that seems highly unlikely.

A petition can't SAVE a game, Internal forces such as being a CEO, Copyright holder, and stakeholder have controls. A stupid "save campaign" won't do crap on a game, if the decision was made by well idk the company that made it or even Disney themselves. I am our latest petition signer at 22000 now so i will hopefully all turn out fine after all. I don’t find it fair on the days and money that some people have put into this game how they can just terminate it. I feel terminating the store and major future updates is understandable but the whole game😱😳 I still wasn’t yet able to show you my town 3 years later I was hoping one day I could do this😭
