My MK4, 1.8T, AUM has an oil leak from somewhere. I don't know where. Hoping to get it fixed. Anyway will be with you through your journey

Rear main seal, front main seal, rocker cover, spark plug seals, oil pan/cooler. Usual suspects. I have a 2.8 V6 with 195000km. I just clean up the weeping every 3 months or so. Looks clean afterwards. I'm waiting to do chains at 250k kms. Will tackle it then. Expensive job if you're not doing it yourself. Good luck. 👊

@@TangoJR_10 So many things. Turbo actuator seals/gaskets then. Even your EGR(carbon buildup mainly)/PCV diafram can cause issues? What is your mileage? How much of oil do you fill every 1000kms?

Man, so much awesome Vdub Knownledge and hilarious antics! Too bad about the Custom ECU. I hope you got a refund! My 1.8t is on it's 4th Turbo and at 217K. But I did have a new head with 3 angle Valve job put in at 109k when my Valves hit my Pistons when a Metal impeller Water Pump broke. Ever since then I went back to Plastic impellers. Congrats on getting it fired up! Sounding pretty good.
