the coilpack looks dope..what other upgrades are you running? I have a skoda octavia vrs with the auq engine with just a map on it and running around 220bhp. I'm looking to increase this upto around 280/300bhp any suggestions on what to do and what decent brands of tech to use that's reliable? I'm based in the UK

I'm running full bolt ons; intake, fmic, turbo inlet, DV, 3" DP, exhaust with a stage 2 tune. Max hp with a stock k03, you could reach around 240 whp. Otherwise you'd have to get a bigger turbo for more. I'll be doing more mods in the future before I upgrade the turbo..some great brands are Forge Motorsport, 034 Motorsport, Integrated Engineering. Checkout ecs tuning, they have all the great brands!

Turbo timer is on my list of installs to do :) The coils will plug straight in but it's recommended to get the spacers so they are solid and don't pop out or loosen

AWW engine code you don't need them I've been running them for almost a year and never pop off I have to forcibly remove them when changing plugs

I got mine off of ebay. The o2 threads are universal, it should fit most cars.

Audi coils/R8 coils look cool on a VW1.8t however you dont see performance gains from them. They may have a higher internal capacity for a stronger charge and output (for high performance engines) but your VW ECM never utilizes that; the power input and output is the same with either coil. Some updated OEM VW coils and plugs is more than enough for a good tune up, save your dough! Sincerly- Certified VW Technician.

Hii i have a 1.8t AUQ Leon 1m with a stage 1 from revo, forge 007, k&n air filter, i think have k03s, and not much more. U think i have to re map the ecu if i do the same mod as u did, with the sparkplugs and coils?

With your mods listed, I don't think a remap is needed. If you have a 3" downpipe with full exhaust (cat delete, etc), front mount intercooler, upgraded silicone intake hoses, and 93 octane then yes a remap for stage 2 is recommended. Otherwise this ignition upgrade doesn't need a remap in general. You could do this on a stock setup without issues.

If you’re referring to the vacuum box, I did a PCV delete and removed it entirely.

WhatJoshyDoes Tv Nope. As long as you do the delete properly and not create any vacuum leaks then you will be good. A major air leak will cause an check engine light.

Your O2 sensor extender install is misleading. As some people will experience the weld-in bung on the test pipe will not have a perfect level orientation to the pipe itself resulting in the o2 sensor being positioned too high or hanging too low. Nothing a welder and a grinder can’t fix but just thought I should put that out there as a JIC.

If it looks cool, +10hp. Nah just kidding, no hp gains by itself but it operates more efficiently. Also depends on supporting mods, you can use it to your advantage in more complex engine builds.

For your car it could be multiple causes for it to be running rich. Check your MAF sensor and o2 sensor. Unplug the maf to see if it still runs rich. And I think mine says unleaded due to the US version. Highest octane I have in Hawaii is 91.
