Ah, yes - I am forgetting the unpredictable dogs element! Having the flexibility/problem solving qualities of 3D wooden block floor plans was probably better for my creativity anyhow :)

I love that I found this! I loved the late 90s early 00s Spiegel and Avon catalogs when I was a tween. Watching Frasier and how he decorated his condo was so Spiegel.

Love that. My mom handmade everyone Christmas stockings when I was a kid and I snatched up the only celestial print stocking - gorgeous dark blue and gold. I still use it! 🌙🌞

My mom and i use to purchase clothing and furniture from spiegel and the quality was excellent i still have a chair my mom bought over 30 years ago silk chair and it still look fab!!

I was obsessed with Speigel when first married-I used the catalog as a coffee table book. I didn't have the money to buy often, but my favorite purchase was a set of two modern art canvases. They were pastel and was just paint knifed onto the canvas. I was hoping that I would spot them as you were flipping through. I can't remember exactly when we bought them, but it was sometime between 94-95. If you have seen anything like this in the catalog, I would love to see it. So nostalgic!

My mom had a Speigel credit card, and it was her favorite place to shop. I am excited to watch this because I only have vague memories of what she wore. 😊 Edit: Well darn. I fast forwarded it and it was just the furnishings. Maybe next time??

I've been searching for a dining table that unfolded into a bed. The headboard would become the table top. It think it was advertised for $300. I've regretted not buying it for like 30 years . Have you seen it advertised? Thank you
