just to add a tidbit. The dark crystal in hakkar's chest is his "heart". In vanilla, his heart is what you take to give to the Zandalari stationed in Booty bay. They supposedly conduct a ritual to banish hakkar using his heart. Molthor says: "Now, only one step remains to rid us of the Soulflayer's threat... Begin the ritual, my servants. We must banish the heart of Hakkar back into the void!" Bwonsamdi also tells us after we defeat Hakkar again in De Other Side that "you can't keep a bad loa down, he'll be back". (also you can randomly find Molthor on the Isle of Thunder and kill him) Also his abilities do a lot of shadow damage in the classic fight in Zul'Gurub. You defeat him by doing a similar thing to that gold priest boss in Atal'dazar. You allow yourself to get poisoned and then Hakkar siphons your poisoned blood and it damages him. As for Hakkar's physical form, to me, he seems to have a bit of wind serpent and maybe that was actually his original form because we don't see a wind serpent loa anywhere to my knowledge AND when you summon the "avatar of hakkar" in the Sunken Temple he is just a skeletal undead wind serpent. At first glance, Hakkar seems like a large overgrown wind serpent merged with the arms of an A'qir. Perhaps Hakkar was a titan experiment too. The vectis boss in uldir is supposedly due to a blood plague which the titans "couldn't find a cure for" so they just put in the vault and then g'huun's blood merged with that blood. I wondered if that blood plague was actually just caused by Hakkar. Also I know everyone probably knows this but the Hakkar blood plague was studied by real epidemiologists to understand how contagions spread when his corrupted blood infected hunter pets back in vanilla and then proceeded to wipe everyone out lol.

pyro, rastakan was the guy who hired us to storm into vanilla Zul Gurub to slay Hakkar in the first place. so him having something that say "Hakkar fel because of me" its actually metal to think... also if he went to talk with other troll tribes, whouldn't something fashioned like that instill more authority? also we loot hakkar's heart :)

The reason why the moon alligns perfectly with the arquitecture there 3:49 is because Zandalari are based on mesoamerican cultures and almost all of their temples pyramids and other buildings were constructed to be alligned with either the moon, the sun or certain stars and constellations. So I dont think its just random or an artistic choice, I beleive it was deliberate

It's crazy to me more people dont' see all the Hakkar imagery in Zandalar. The headdresses, the architecture, he's all over the place. Funny, there are Wind Serpents in Dragon Isles too - and at one point in beta, "Awakened Ire" was actually called "Awakened Blood". I'm really wondering if Hakkar is actually dragon-based, He seems like a reasonable halfway point between a Ghuun and a Galakrond.

Hakkar being a loa experiment makes alot of sense, when you visit uldir and fight vectis the entire boss is blood corruption and blood corruption management. Its one hell of a cool design and i think they used that blood originally to create Hakkar.

Does anyone else think Dazar slightly rebelling against Zul when he gets blinded to G’huun’s will is sort of interesting? Like still being able to hold on to his identity?

You are not understanding what is being said friend. Seschenal (the name of Eonar’s weapon) is the anagram for Seneschal. Thats what is being said.

I hope Dazar returns in the future, he has great potential for story and knowledge of the old world. Maybe in the Darkspear Heritage quest he can get a mention.
