Mic M I have personally heard activity coming from three different rooms at the same time when I was trying to sleep one night. Pretty common occurrence, and no big deal usually, just a bit awkward and annoying when people are too loud and you’re trying to sleep.

I'd disagree with the friends part to a certain extent. It really depends on who the friend is. If they are mature and wise then yes take their advice. If not, take it with a grain of salt. Some people just don't want to see another person happy. Also, they might get jealous of the time you are spending with your gf/bf

Date so you don’t regret it. I dated one girl who was really into me but the mask slipped about a month and a half into the relationship so I called it off. If I hadn’t taken her up on her offer I would have thought later in life “Maybe it could have worked out with her.” Now I know it wouldn’t have worked and I learned what I don’t want in a girl. I never let her get in the way of my friends or school. Definitely a learning experience

hey! i’m a sophomore at GW just wanted to add some things you could go to :) idk what’s open bc of coronavirus but my favorite food places on our dining plan on campus were Toryumon (japanese place but a bit pricey), flower child (incredible food omg and i’m pretty sure they do takeout), Dukes Grocery, & Pizza, Peet’s coffee (really good alternative to starbucks and the workers are the nicest people ever but we also have starbucks). Other than that, being on campus you could also walk from there to the washington monument and get a feel for how close it is because it’s my favorite part of where the campus is located :) especially at night going to monuments with friends is really pretty

also most people go to Kogan on campus to study outside but a good underrated study spot outside was university Yard. sometimes my friends and I would go to the lawn by the monuments to study too

Fetishizing black women is not something to be proud of. That's racist in nature. Also, you can't deny black women's experiences as some "narrative". Many black men or non black men don't want black women. They're colorist and racist against black women. What they share is true about black men and non black men. You aren't unwanted in the dating pool: cool. That's your experience that does not compare to the thousands of experiences of black women. Your experience is not the same compared to many black girls in different regions of the US or different regions of the world, so don't dismiss that. Let black girls speak their truth; they don't need to be silenced because you don't agree with their experience.
