Ari had absolutely NO CHEMISTRY whatsoever with Samu nor Guzmán. It was shitty, Mencia and Rebe's plot was just for filler.I believe Cayetana had the best growth, the writers should give her more scenes.I Stand by the same thing I have said since season 1, Lu was the best character in the show

This was the worst season. Ari's character was so forced and if felt awful like a wannabe Lu. Guzman and Samu's friendship that took 3 seasons to grow was destroyed because of Ari even though she had NO CHEMISTRY with either of them. All of their scenes were cringe. Cayetana has the best growth and I wish she had more scenes to show off her performance. MENCIA and Rebe were just way to add more romance and was cute? But still felt weird and rushed, it would have been better if they just flirted and let Rebe take it slow. I also stand by what I have said since season one: Lu was the chatacter which made most of the series internaining and looking forward to. The new principal was to day the least mean and excellent performance. That was actually believable. Oh and the murder everyone is waiting for...? TOTAL CRAP. Edit: I also want to add that Omar, Patrick and Anders trio was most likely made because the producers wanted to "spice" things up, and in my opinion it totally backfired because they were the only stable one.

I also thought that Ari was similar to lucrecia but after watching a few episodes I realised that those two are total of opposites. Sure, they are both queen bees but they are different. With lucrecia, she was feisty and a total meanie. She also used to get whatever guy she wanted. But with Ari, she was ambitious and less bitchy and really caring towards her family( Mencia, Patrick and her dad). The only similarly that these two had was being Queen bees of Las Encaninas. Oh, also Ari was a sex freak in her own way🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣when she decided to sleep with Samu while dating Guzman.

My opinions on Elite (small spoilers): -The only in character thing Guzman did this season was talking about Marina. - They should have explained where Valerio went, because he was such a big part of the previous season. -Polo not being mentioned at all was a huge mistake. - Cayetanna's development is great this season. - Patrick is so useless, and could definitely have been left out of the entire season. -Ander and Omar should have broken up after season 2. - The love triangle was terrible. -Menziais kind of annoying. - It is becoming incredibly obvious how much Carla and Lucrecia carried the show. - Rebecca was awesome though. - Ander kind of sucks.

Surprisingly Cayetana’s story was the only one I was really interested in. And she was the one with the least sex scenes so that makes sense. I’m duh they did that with all the story lines and developed their relationships more through conversation than sex. When Ari said she loved Samuel I was confused because they only had sex scenes and nothing else to prove they had feelings.

I just think polo was the back bone of the show. Even if he's not your favorite character, he created them storylines and kept it entertaining. elite always had a lot of sex scenes and petty arguments, but the reason it worked was because the whole show didn't revolve around those things. I think the show became full circle after polo died (even though polo is my favorite character), and the show should've ended after season 3.

Well, as an ex Muslim I was hoping to see FOR ONCE a representation of someone actual leaving the religion because we see that with ex Christians all the time. I never had this kind of representation, it's always half things (like Nadia starting to rebel a bit) or Muslims being completely strict about their religion. That's not the reality for so many people, especially looking at the Iranians who are fighting to take it off. Everytime we even mention that we left the religion we are confronted with so much hate and this is exactly why they don't show these things on TV! Because whatever you show, you are always labeled as "Islamophobia" even though so many people experience religious trauma. Also they didn't even show that one sex scene of Nadia and Guzman because Nadia is Muslim but they ignored that Guzman is christian too and they didn't care..

A threesome built on attraction isn't something new in either straight or gay relationships. But seeing it develop on a series is something new that had not been seen before, certainly not with a gay couple taking in a third partner and a threesome story line wouldn't have worked with a straight couple such as F-M-F couple of M-F-M couple because of jealousy issues. But with a established gay couple taking in a third to spice up their sex life. It worked for this reason because gays for the most part are not as conservative when it comes to sex as straight people couples are. The mistake made in that threesome of Ander - Patrick - Omar was that feelings got involved with Patrick falling for Ander instead of keeping it purely sexual and then things went downhill from there as Omar began to resent that Ander and Patrick were getting emotionally close. Once feelings got involved then the fun was over.

I mostly agree with you, but Guzman would've gotten in huge trouble. Killing someone in self defense is still regarded as manslaughter, meaning he would be in jail for many years with a possibility of parole. Manslaughter is very similar to murder, with the difference being the planning of it. Manslaughters are often accidents and acts of self defense. Murders are mostly planned and thought out for a long while, maybe even years. Hope this cleared things up !

The show has always had such a lack of parents actively parenting but I was constantly asking myself where they were this season! Like even parents who have been established: Guzman’s parents, Caye’s mom, Omar’s parents (Netflix did shorts for characters who left the show so we can catch up after they graduated, in Guzman and Nadias, Nadia and Omar went to their sisters wedding so did Omar see/acknowledge his parents? What’s their relationship?), Anders Dad. Like the only sensible realistic parent is Anders mom. We saw rebe’s mom and she’s a mamma bear but also lied to her daughter about dealing coke so you know there’s that. Samus mom was mentioned and I got upset all over again about the way she just abandoned her son like that?!!! Like wtf?!! And just don’t get me started on Benjamin or Philepes mom. Every parent in this show is pretty much a parent by title and not action of their HIGH SCHOOL kids. Ok rant over lol

I won’t lie the whole Guzman and Nadia being endgame was always confusing to me especially because I personally think their relationship was always fragile and toxic. I hated the fact that they made her religion the biggest obstacle in their relationship (yes it was very big) when really it was the fact both of them not being honest and lack of trust in each other. Las Encinas was the only thing keeping them together. The perfect ending should of been how it ended in season 3. What I wanted to happen in S4: Samuel starts liking Rebbe while being with Carla and her not feeling it(she would be so angry if that happened).They have a few moments than they stop. Guzman and Ander visits Polo's grave and have an emotional momment. Tension between Patrick and Ander ( Patrick doing it to find out something Ander's hiding) Only difference in Mencia storyline,is her and Rebbe taking it slow. No difference in principal's or Cayetana storyline. Ari should've been a sweet and fragile character.(Guzman and Samuel teams up together frr to convince her about Omar staying.) The three new kids somehow figuring out Lu murdered Polo but got away with it. A real fight breaking out with Omar and Patrick because he's trying to trick Ander. Because of that fight now Omar has a even lower chance of staying in the school. A visit from Lu,Carla,Valerio and Nadia.(it should happen while Patrick and Omar are fighting in the hallway like imagine their faces while seeing that) They throw the big party(with Lu,valerio,Carla and Nadia ofc). Nadia and Guzman breaking up figuring out it won't work. Carla and Samuel making out and Ari walking in on them. Patrick being absolutely mad about Ander and gathering everybody and hinting that he know's Lu killed polo. Right after that announcement Ari receives a video of her.(a s*x tape,ionk...something outrageous).So she becomes overwhelmed while drunk,knowing that not only she got played but that video going around could ruin her future.She tries to drown herself on purpose. Guzman kills that creepy guy and him being arrested for it. And that's how season 4 ends loll

Great video!, it was nice to hear your perspective on this show,, [S4 SPOILERS AHEAD] Tbh, I think that S4 was lowkey disappointing and very unnecessary, especially the ending. If Armando actually survived or Ari died, it would have given an opportunity for future seasons to be wayy more interesting as well as build up anticipation. There is not much much to look forward in a S5. But S4 as a whole seemed hella rushed and forced, I really disliked how there were barely any references to events that took place in earlier seasons. If I was to recommend this series to someone, I would tell them to only watch S1-3.

*My unpopular opinion* I hated that Carla and Lu weren't part of this season. Their absence just showed how significant they were to the show. Carla and Samu could have been given a better ending. Samu was pretty useless this season, all he did was complicate his own life by getting involved with Ari. It didn't make sense how Guzman left Lu for a good girl like Nadia, only to leave Nadia for Ari , who was basically just like Lu. There was no deep chemistry between Ari and Guzman and the whole thing seemed rushed. Samu and Ari were also forced and had no chemistry. The love triangle didn't make sense and I don't think Ari carries enough umff to destroy Guzman and Samuel's friendship that took 3 seasons to build, that was messed up. Ari wasn't even worth it in the end. Ander and Omar's love story was already toxic enough in season 3, but I guess there is no limit on this show. Patrick played his role well.. he was seductive and malicious and I'm glad he got between Omar and Ander because Ander is annoying when he shuts down, he keeps on hurting Omar. I'm also glad Ander finally left, Guzman leaving too was unnecessary because he's one of the main characters. I feel like the more main characters leave, the less original the show becomes. Mencia starts off as a badass but eventually gets irritating. Her lack of respect for her family and stubborness is what got everyone in trouble at the end. Mencia and Rebe were cute nevertheless. Cayetana's character has really developed I agree, I just hate how she doesn't really have a close friend and she keeps falling for scum every season, like yea she messed up but she deserves a break. Another thing that bothered me is the lack of parental guidance in the show. Those kids practically raise themselves. How can parents be so unconcerned and nonchalant about everything that was going on? It just didn't feel right. Valerio just.... Disappeared?? Hoped he would have stayed for cayetana. To sum it all I think the new characters where just spinoffs of the old ones, Ari was like Lu, Mencia was like Marina except more destructive, Patrick was like Valerio and Phillipe was like Polo. I'm just glad nobody important actually died😜 I hope Carla returns next season, I really miss that spoilt Marquise😩❤️

I don't think any of of character would be back. They erase Guzman & Ander which is the characters from the first season. Omar & Samu are the only left. Since the timeline is set in the middle of their senior year semester, then probably all the characters (especially from season 1 & 2) should've been graduate in the season 5. But if somehow they still want to continue to the season 6, then I guess the similar pattern would be happen. The writer would find a way to make some characters from season 4 to stay and they would add new characters like what they did rn. I forget where I read this but bassically elite is the show who focused with the students at las encinas "their habits, their problems, their lives." So that's why they don't bother to add new characters and leave the og since they couldn't stay in highschool forever.

I feel like no ones talking about how the actual murder didnt even make sense. Overall this was the worst season. But I don’t understand how the investigation on Polo’s MURDER didn’t continue for one. Like season 3 ended with an investigation understanding that Polo was killed 😕 and we even got a scene of Rebe and Caye looking mad sus by the body, but I digress. The whole Armando thing didn’t even make sense, because he was the one who beat Ari, so what did they tell the police? CHILD. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!! If I had to summarize season 4 in one word/phrase, it would be "OVER PRODUCED." It just felt like they had so much more money, runway and potential to do something cool and blew it on dumb plot moments like Cayetana dancing on couches and trying on dresses, instead of actually thinking through smart plot evolutions. I feel like the former 3 seasons were so much better because they didn't have any flashy tricks to rely on and had to work solely with strong character development and plot evolution. I hate that they chose to make 3 of the 4 new characters related (speaking solely about the kids, not the parents) and I think that took away from the potential for this season. Also, redoing the "someone gets hurt/killed" narrative was disappointing to me, as the show is undoubtably good even without the murder plot lines and those are something we've seen them do several times already across the former 3 seasons. We didn't need another story that centered around that. Additionally, the erosion of character developments (particularly Guzman's) was soooo disappointing!! Like we saw this man really start out terrible in season 1, get worse, rage in anger in season 2, grieve so deeply in season 3 and come out of it all a changed man, only to go back to him being petty with samuel, literally in like episode 3 of season 4. Lastly, I feel that there wasn't enough of a connection to what all of the kids had been through in the prior 3 seasons within season 4. It was like the show just wanted to start from scratch and ignore the fact that they've all been deeply traumatized over the years. ALSO - why can't we actually focus on Samuel not having ANY family anymore and just being in Madrid on his own?! And how terrible the fashion got on this season - they dress Rebe so over the top it's hard to look at any more.

My favourite this season was cayetana I loved her before too ( I think because of the actress) and I don’t know if many people saw the specials but the cage,rebe and Guzman special was the funniest elite has ever been and cayetana was great in it. So in all I liked this season but it didn’t feel as important and was not too memorable, my favourite was the first season btw mostly because there were hint on who was the killer and why they killed someone and it was someone we knew and were following and knew their motive exactly like in the third season we found out lu’s motive at the end which didn’t really make sense ( I don’t know if what i said made sense to anyone)

Elite is one of my favorite shows to ever exist and i was really looking forward to season 4. Needless to say, i was incredibly disappointed. Lots of things didn't make sense at, like the way they were trying to make characters be in a relationship even if they had no chemistry *whatsoever* ,this just helped in ruining previous and actually GREAT relationships for no good reason and that _tore_ me apart. There's also the fact that the plot had no substance *at all* they could have probably done more if they weren't so focused on all the unnecessary love triangles and more on the characters themselves.

This season was so M E S S Y!!!! Like the whole love triangle between Ander, Omar, and Patrick should’ve been cut down to a few betrayals haha. I will say that I definitely feel like Cayetana and Phillipe’s storyline were my least favorite. In a lot of ways I feel as though every character arc was rushed in a way and it left me wanting more. I think I just miss how insanely good Season 3 was because bbabbbbyyy that was some drama. Also side note, every time Patrick was in a scene I couldn’t stop staring at him. He’s like a real life anime character, he is too pretty 😍. And he kind of gave me Lil Nas X vibes 🧐 Do you think there should be a season 5? I honestly feel like they should end it here. Sorry for this long comment lmao but if you’re looking for some Spanish limited series on Netflix check out Somebody Has to Die and The Mess You Leave Behind. Both are really great! And SKAM!! Such a great show, I recommend checking out the original Norwegian version first :) okay I’m done for real now haha

"The mess you left behind"was really dissapointed. It seemed very unrealistic and easy for the new teacher to discover the cause of death of Viruca, and the final was so so boring it could be more ambitious considering all the mistery they had putted.

I honestly don’t know how to feel about this season it felt really sloppy in parts, but at the same time I enjoyed it. Patrick had me feeling some type of way 🥵. I didn’t like Ari at all she really was giving Demi Lovato and was not a good replacement for Lu. I liked Mencia and Rebe together and I’m still invested in Omar and Ander. I’d watch another season but Idk if I really want/need it.

I am just mid video but I have to say : Did we watch the same damn show ?? Lol Dont get me wrong I absolutely loved the 3 previous seasons of elite even though they had their flaws however this season was the absolute WORST to me. I did not feel connected to the new characters the way you did nor to the story ! I dont ever mind sex scenes in a show but this season was just too much in the sense that the scenes did absolutely NOTHING for the plot and were so random. It felt they were pushing sex scenes for a lack of an ability to write compelling characters, built the relationships between them and the plot. (Ex: The trouple between Carla, Polo and Christiann made sense to the plot and was useful to create the messy situation which led to Marina death, in S4 you cant say the same.) There was either no character developpement (cf Samuel, Omar, Ander) or ruined character dev (cf Guzman). The only growth was Cayetana which I used to hate but now I love how self assured she got, found self love/ self estim. Rebe was cool too.

The thing that upsets me the most about season 4 is the fact that the writers completely ignored the plot of the 3 previous seasons. Like the first 3 seasons made sense, there was a sort of clear plot and everything was linked and this season they just forgot all about the original storyline and what lead the characters to be where they were at. They simply introduced these 5 new characters (which in my opinion is a lot for one season) and made the whole season about them wasting a lot of character development in the process. Like "what happened to the original plot of the movie??" if ykwim

I hated Ari's character, this season didn't give enough attention to Samuel he was so forced. Mencìa and Patrick and Caye were great. This season is the worst season of all of them it is not terrible but isn't great.

I love the excitement that the character of Patrick brought to the show and I think we know Manu Rios was brought in to be the new heartthrob of the show making gays and girls swoon. I will say though a sexy gay homewrecker was something new I never seen before and Patrick fit that bill at first then he made the mistake of falling for Ander who wanted to keep the triangle sexual in nature and not get feelings involved except for the feeling he had for Omar which of course eventually happened as Omar began to resent how close Ander and Patrick were getting. My guess is Patrick will become the show's new villain in season 5 after getting his heart broken by Ander in season 4 and Omar will either move away to be with Ander in season 5 or find a new love.
