The thing about wokeness is that while it may have peaked in media and in industry, the ripple effects in society from 10 years of nonstop propaganda have only just started. Coming from a developing country, the younger generation here have been all but consumed by wokeness, and that trend is not going away anytime soon. Remember those few years after 9/11 when almost every depiction of arabs in movies involved terrorists and bombs? 20 years later, that meme is still alive and strong.

@jasonchambers16792 ай бұрын
Shapiro is not responsible for hiring and firing. That responsibility is with Jeremy Boring. Although Ben may have had some influence, he didn't let her go. Furthermore, Candace is one of the biggest extreme conspiracy theorists on planet Earth. Her hatred for the Jewish people is widely documented. She's a serious antisemite and launched her career off the backs of those she now dedicated a lot of time attacking. If you lost respect for Ben Shapiro for having limited involvement in the decision to not RENEW her contract than you should have zero respect for Candace Owens and how she uses the people that helped her as a blast platform.

Elon is objectively a net good human if you believe in helping humanity flourish. Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, X, etc, are all companies that were either founded or acquired with the intention of solving a problem, not making money. For everyone who thinks Elon is some money hungry business man, Tesla has open-source patents, meaning anyone can legally use their designs and technologies. Profit off them, optimize them, whatever. Obviously, he can't do this for SpaceX or Neuralink because it's very illegal, but is there any better sign that he cares more about the problem being solved than the personal gains? Literally no other car or tech company does this. Elon has said many times in interviews, he'd be thrilled to have another company put tesla out of business, because it means progress is being accelerated faster than he can do on his own. Anyway, whether you think his politics is dumb or not, he's doing more for humanity than just about any other human on earth, including you.

Economically the wealth gap is a problem though. That is because it presents barriers to equal opportunity especially in emerging markets in hi- tech like A.I. we see the problems of this monopolization in the bilateral politics we hate. 2 groups- tribalisim- in-group, out-group bias causing lowered efficacy/efficiency, bigoted fighting, missinformation, and lack of production/problem solving. All you need is a 3rd party to differentiate projected envy/jelousy, and differing opinions so that natural competition aligns the groups to work together and find common ground instead of polarize each other. This needs to he compensated by thebimmense innovation and job opportunities big companies make however as they do provide great opportunities when regulated to fair competition
