Thanks -- all of this is great info. I own a 2021 Escape Hybrid (15,000 miles on it) that I took in last week for the 23S27 Recall fix. Driving away from the dealership afterwards, the engine malfunctioned. I was able to make it back to the dealership on battery power. I haven't received any notice from Ford yet on the CSP 23n06, but the dealer tells me I need a new long block. As of right now, they're saying it will be available the middle of August.

We love our Maverick. Unreal mpg on highway and if you hypermile it my wife pushes 50mpg around town. That’s no bs and it’s calculated. It’s a cool truck.

The happened to me today, I told the dealer that my Maverick had been accelerating itself and today I turned it on and turn off its self making a lot of noises in the engine and it appeared stop the car carefully . Today is in the dealer shops

Do you think I am doing any harm by running on the base level regular unleaded gas? I run 87 most of the time then give her some 89 as a treat

What if I bought a 100,000 mile warranty upgrade? Do I get a refund?

No because the warranty that Ford is extending is just for the engine only and certain criteria must be met for said replacement to happen

Gas is the same. All fuel comes from the same refinery.
