@@c0smicchelsea it’s gonna be saved for season 3 in my opinion . I hope season 3 explores Abby’s eating disorder because up until now she’s been in the background but there are a few scenes that tease it’s gonna be explored more in the next season (Samantha also having an ED when abby goes to the bathroom and hears her throwing up), press finds out about her taping her legs and hopefully when we get to season 3, we get to see that play out a little more. And , Ginny and abby become more of a duo where abby opens up about how the divorce is effecting her at blue farm

Honestly, that would make sense. The same way Georgia would do anything for her kids, i think Austin will end up doing any and everything for her mother. It was interesting to see how different him and Ginny are. He just assumes everything his mother does is right because of all she has done for them and been through, so he wants to protect her. There is definitely potential there to turn him into a monster in later seasons

Between Abby and Ginny’s new friendship and the newer characters getting more of the spotlight (Zion, bracia, gill) there wasn’t a ton of room for Norah to have more spotlight. Georgia gave a whole speech in the car to Ginny about how she did the things she did in order to protect her… but then turned around and did it again to someone that had absolutely nothing to do with any of her kids’ wellbeing. Like you can’t just go around killing people to make EVERYONE feel better. She risked losing her kids for sure just by doing that as well as potentially causing everyone around her to resent her if she’d just mind her business and focus on raising her kids and stop trying to play god for everyone because now it’s to a point where it’s like she has some form of deep down satisfaction by killing people regardless of if it has to do with her kids or not.

@@c.l.bailey4256 agreed. It just annoyed me like be glad you got away with the first few and push that to the back burner… why risk not being around your kids that you’re always pulling the “you don’t know what it’s like being the single mom” card about by offing someone’s husband that did nothing to your kids, just to make a “friend” feel better…? Cynthia never fw her like that in the first place.🤨 if Cynthia was really done with her husband she’ll handle that situation herself in her own way.

Everyone is saying Paul will leave Georgia but I feel like he’ll give up his mayor role just for her & will be her ride or die 3. Gil will get temporary custody of Austin & Austin’s behavior will turn for the worse 4. Max again will unfriend Ginny with Norah following suit bc of Ginny’s mom 5. Cynthia will have Georgia’s back 6. Abby & Ginny’s relationship will grow stronger & Ginny will find out about Abby’s problems 7. Zion’s parents will manipulate him into getting full custody of Ginny 8. Ginny & Marcus won’t get back together but will become close as friends again 9. Padma & Hunter… I think the show is already setting this up to happen considering the jokes made about it 10. Joe having a dark past

Honestly I think Abby's storyline being so slow to unfold with nobody around her really noticing/caring is actually a good thing about the show because it's true to reality. I had severe anorexia as a kid/teen and it really does take so long for anybody to really notice because the nature of the illness is that you lie about it and hide it. Nobody recognises the signs and only notice when it gets very bad, then it's "I'm so sorry, I had no idea" etc. That's what so many of us have been through. I mean at the end of the season we saw that Samantha has an eating disorder too when she was purging in the toilet, followed by Abby purging as well. Nobody picked up on Samantha having an eating disorder just like they aren't picking up on Abby having one either. The only person who knows about Abby taping her legs is Press but he's a piece of crap (calling her whale legs even after finding that out) so obviously he won't try to support her. I have a feeling nobody will notice Abby's eating disorder until it gets very bad, which is really accurate to reality.

I know people want to see Joe and Georgia together, but I just don't see it. Even though it's a really sweet backstory of them meeting as kids I don't think Joes personality can in any way shape or form compare to Georgias. They're not compatible at all, I feel like Georgia would be way too much for him and he wouldn't know how to deal with it. I really want them to become friends though, or at least talk about them meeting as kids, or joes' feelings for her. He is the cutest guy, but it just won't work, they're so different. I think Zion should end up with Georgia, as they said in the show numerous times, they're never going to stop loving each other. They're literally soulmates, that's why they keep going back to each other. Zion offers this calm, comforting, caring and solitude that Georgia needs for some sort of stability but at the same time, he can keep up with her. He's fun, interesting and matches her energy. And Zion is such a sweet guy as well, all those scenes with him and Ginny really tell you how much of a good and kind father he is. And Paul is ok I guess. He hasn't done anything wrong I just think he's kind of boring and doesn't have any sort of history with Georgia or any type of special connection. He's nice for sure I just think he's the odd one out, he kind of just popped out of nowhere. That's my opinion but yeah, I just don't get why so many people are convinced she should end up with Joe.

I don’t see it either, it just doesn’t make any sense. And Cynthia’s opinion on that idea (szn 2) helped change the mindset i first had on them in season one. I feel as if there’s very little chemistry, even though Joe might feel like there is much more. Joe clings onto the past memories he’s had with Georgia. He’s just so convinced that he’s in love with her. But imagine how that would be completely ruined if they got together. Things would happen, beans *would* be spilled, guarantee that. Not to mention, he was doing some thangs with Cynthia, wishing he was doing those specific THANGS with Georgia. Which is sad because she doesn’t feel that way or think that way about him. She percieves him differently but definitely knows he likes her. I think his feelings about her though are going to come to an end, though. I felt that way when the last episode came around, and Marcus and him were talking on the bench at the wedding. I feel like with Paul, he’ll either still be in love with her somehow. Or his image of her will be ruined, it’s one way or another for me. Anyway They just don’t make sense im sorry

And while I can see them being good friends, partners is such a stretch for me, like where is the tension. She has never once seemed interested in him and all he does is stare at her across the room. Be fr. And even if something happened and they somehow got together, he's so shy and timid and Georgias literally the complete opposite. He won't keep up and she'll get bored. I love both Joe and Georgia but together I just couldn't see it working. And in what way are they getting all the love interests out of the way? Zion and Paul are still very much there. this season i feel like georgia was written in an odd way. i thoguht there were some amazing scenes from her and ginny that showed growth in their relationship, however, she seemed more villainous this season, last season it was clear that EVERYTHING she did was for her kids and ginny seemed to not appreciate it. this season ginny did seem to understand and appreciate georgia but georgia didn't do the same for ginny which is out of character seeing that georgia has literally killed for ginny. we understand why georgia did things like not sending the letters to gil because he was violent and wanted to cut contact with him, but i feel like georgia could've been honest about that with austin OR explain that to him while apologizing to him, it almost felt like georgia took advantage of him by saying "yes i lied to u but i'm sorry pls forgive me" like, what? georgia seemed to sweep so many things that she did under the rug and use the same "i do everything to protect u guys" idek but she just felt different this season and felt like a genuine bad person at times. i tried so hard to love georgia a lot thru all that but the second she was talking to cynthia abt tom i knew she was going to kill him, and to know that austin saw all that AND it had nothing to do with protecting her kids i just thoguht it was odd. i mean u could defend it by saying, "oh well she wanted to put cynthia's family out of pain" but even then it's just such a dumb thing to do with all her criminal history. also i wanted to cry for austin when he said " but i didn't tell anyone" like i feel like ppl don't talk at austin enough, of course ginny has gone thru hell, but so has austin. sorry for the rant but i just love this show so much and i felt like the writers kept doing this weird thing where they would show georgia ina bad light and still be like "omg let's root for her still", this show is at its best when it's not trying to be this super plot twisting murder mystery but instead going to the roots of a very complex family dynamic with a lot of history.

OMG THIS COMMENT! Literally thought it was just me who felt that way. The scene where Paul was giving his thoughts on Austin’s school/learning situation, idk it just felt a little off to me personally. On one end, I can understand her reaction to Paul suggesting that Austin may have a problem, but for some reason it felt.. Not like Georgia? I feel like season 1 Georgia would've immediately strived to help Austin. Maybe that's just an overreaction🤷🏽‍♀️ Like you said, I definitely tried to love her 100% but her vibe was just a little different to me. Her killing Cynthia’s husband really disappointed me. I know people are still going to defend her, but I just can't stand with that. Hopefully the show gets picked back up for szn 3 because if not it was a ballsy move to leave off a cliffhanger like that lmao

I agree with this. I hated when they had Georgia read Ginny’s journal and then (iirc) like jump on her physically and yell. That seemed out of character especially for Georgia who is a young millennial mom who has seen a lot in her life. Burning yourself is obviously extremely sad to do but it’s not that uncommon. And it’s obviously not something to scream and yell at someone about. It felt more like Georgia had learned Ginny was burning Austin or something with how angry she got. Idk

i mean, it’s apparent in both seasons that georgia is insanely self centered and self serving. she’s a narcissist, even when she’s protecting her children, when she gets away with it it feeds her ego. she was too much of a mary sue last season. the writers never let u see georgia in a bad light.

@@Saditty I really don't understand why you think that's out of character? In s1 Ginny argues that Austin should go to therapy after he stabs a kid in the hand, and Georgia completely refuses. A defining character trait of Georgia is that she doesn't trust anyone outside the family to help her or her kids. In fact, a lot of the worst things she did to protect Ginny and Austin (the murdering, putting up with abusive husbands, moving around) could've been avoided if she'd accepted the help of Zion's side of the family in stead of cutting them off.

my problem is that there is no actual proof, like I truly don't see how Gabriel case could hold up in court, or how Georgia was even arrested. Anthony ( her 1st husband) is still a missing person, there is zero proof that she killed Kenny because she burned the ashes, and lastly I could so easily spin the whole Tom thing (and I am not even a lawyer). Ex: Georgia was at Cynthia's house, helping her grieving friend because she understood her situation. She left her fingerprints in the room because well she was in there and her tear was on the pillow because she was crying. That is not a strange thing to do in that situation. She called for Cynthia and that is that, also I really hate how Gabriel/Jessie is trying to act morally superior as if he wasn't hired as a P.I. by Georgia's late husbands ex wife to contest his will.

I hate that this season made Ginny and Georgia one of my favorite tv series. I can't explain why to anyone either, I just love my silly little teen drama, with its silly little characters making their silly little decisions while living in their silly little middle class town. Marcus' depression episode and Ginny's therapy arc were handled really well in my opinion. I have dealt with the parent refusing to accept that therapy is needed, to the tough conversations about our family dynamics, down to the self harm stuff. I have also had my parent take my anti depressants to me in bed bc I physically couldn't get out of bed. I really appreciated how they didn't try to do too much but still made it real and relatable enough. It's so funny to me how Ginny became one of my favorite characters, I also loved Abby this season, if no one wants to check on her I WILL. FREE ABBY FROM PRESS PLS. I really enjoyed seeing more from Padma as well, Max wasn't my favorite but I do enjoy watching her scenes with Marcus, I liked where Cythia's storyline with Georgia was going until Joe got involved and Georgia decided that offing the husband was a good idea. BRACIA IS AN ANGEL I LOVE HER, her friendship with Ginny and later on with Max is one of the highlights of this season for me. The finale hurt to watch, I know Georgia is...complicated... but I want her to have her to be happy so bad idc idc.

I have a feeling Georgia thought Cynthia kinda asked her to do it. Georgia probably just thought she was subtly asking her to help her with ending her husband because let’s be real the usual Cynthia would’ve made it a big deal if her husband died and Georgia was the one in the room or the one who found him. But anyway it was so unnecessary for Georgia to do that and she probably just wanted to be even with Cynthia for helping Gill stay away. Cynthia really did pour out her heart to her and everything so I guess that hit a soft spot. But anyway I feel really bad for Austin💔

I didn’t like how Marcus promised Ginny to be there for her and how much he was into her and then ditched her like this. Maybe it’s the actor but it’s a little hard to feel really anything for Marcus because the actor never shows any emotion. Not to be mean but I feel like Felix Mallard is cast because he’s good looking (and he’s painfully good-looking)but not because he’s a good actor. Whether there’s a scene where he’s supposedly so into Ginny or annoyed or sad, the actor has literally the same facial expression so it was a little hard for me to actually feel the romance or depression when the only people actually acting were Felix Mallards counter-parts. Everyone talks about Hunter being cringey but in a lot of scenes, Marcus is equally cringey just because the acting is bad (e.g. the crying scene in season 1 before the motorcycle accident).

Zion is going to stick around for Ginny and maybe offer to take her in along with Austin to get them away from town and from Gil, which will cause friction with Paul. Joe is gonna get wrapped up in this somehow because he SLEPT WITH CYNTHIA and was in her house, so there's the possibility that the police thinks he had motive and opportunity, and did it at Cynthia's request.
