Hondas do it too. It'll be in the low 12s then jump up. With the lights or ac on it stays around 14.6. I went with headways to be safe and the sia is supposed to be good down to 9v but it still makes me nervous

yinglong are salvaged cells from chinease EV busses which have all been ran into the ground. no one wanted the LTO cells so the chinease gov made a gov funded project to make those ev busses. they got used hard and despite the cell chemistry being one of the most bulletproof chemistries for lithium, they all have heavy use on the 2nd hand market. only lithium chemistry that doesnt need a heater though in the cold.

Funny you mention how you trick her alternator. Mine does the same thing, if I turn on windshield wipersbit will go from 13.3 to 14.3 volts for a minute and 15, idk why but it does

Dodge stuff is terrible if you add batteries to stock charging system, I made this mistake in my 06 magnum srt8 and with 5 batteries, first time I turned the system up to the kilowatt range my car went crazy , windshield wipers went 2x as fast as I ever seen cooling fans burnt out , lights PCM and ABS modules took a shit and every light on dashboard came on , must have sent alternator field into the 20 volt range , amps were last thing to cutout , made this mistake twice because the stock alternator was functioning after the big blow out , I fixed everything, and it happened again, at that point I was crying, I decided to get an outboard regulated alternator and haven’t had a problem since , so my advice is first thing you do is change that alternator before anything else 🤞🏻

I would recommend Lishen Lto just build a huge bank. order cells from a good China supplier for cheap and expect great results if assembled correctly I'm running 12 banks of lishen lto 216ah ' and those cells Perform real good! Better than Yinglong . Charging to 15.4v hot at idle
