the decor metaphor is a good one because it includes balance harmony scale etc. i often approach a piece of work in visual art, but also in writing, as if it were a room i was inviting people to enter into and explore - all the same principle apply 🤙

When I did CVP the first time I worked on 12” x 12” boards. I have worked on larger canvases and some boards, but I don’t have the luxury of space to do such large paintings as You do, Nicholas! I think I would LOVE it! I have consciously considered leaving mor open space in some of my abstract art. (Although, I also have created many works that have a lot going on.
