Playing this game for 18 years, I was 14.. the only game to bring me to my current GT. I swear to god. 😂! Ngl I find A LOT of people who play Gears are definitely the same. Emotionally attached. I’m glad you spoke out on it. Nice to see a pros insight on their feelings towards the game growing up.

Gears 1 for many years was the pinnacle of a pvp shooter, for very good reason. A lot of us grew up on gears and love it for similar reasons as you. Great to hear you give your thoughts man. Much love. Keep it up

With how TC treated this game, I wouldn’t be surprised. I love Gears of War. They released Gears UE and released 4 shortly after and abandoned UE. Gears 5 launch was a mess and going radio silent for YEARS was insane. This game will always hold a special place in my heart. Bonding with my brother in the campaign and meeting awesome friends during my teenage years. It’s sad seeing how Prescott of all people would’ve treated this series better than TC. Sure hope they manage to pull it off with E Day. Maybe idk, eh

Thats the whole point of the video. Its not a game, it was his job and how he paid the bills. Its like he got unemployed because of someone else fault One could say just get another job, but spending almost 2 decades, being the best, and then just walking away I guess its not easy That being said, maybe look for help, being angry at the state of your life because of a situation that is out of your hands might not be the best

It’s not just gears the mortal kombat comminoty is in a similar situation, unless a new character is dropping nrs is radio silent , and only listens to one pro, but the decisions and story they make leave a good portion of the community scratching its head, the pro tour numbers show it with low registration numbers

I would love to see E-Day go back to being a slower, heavier feeling game like Gears 1. I don't see it happening, but I would love it. I've played every Gears game for years, except 5. I quit 5 after about 2 weeks. It's a bad game when compared to previous games in the series and anyone that says otherwise is in denial. I really hope E-Day is a return to classic Gears style.

So i don't comment ever but i watch almost all your videos and i understand completely where you're coming from. I've been playing gears since the day it released. I can remember the commercials before it's release with "mad world" playing. The hype i had for this game was unlike any game ever before. I'm still pissed TO THIS DAY that i never got my seriously achievement despite having over 12k kills on gears 1 lmao Yet gears 5 is what made me stop. It's a shallow shell of what cliffy envisioned. The coalition need to take responsibility for the bag of dog shit they've created. I hate it. But i doubt they ever will. It's sad and depressing. I've shifted over to Apex where I'm top 30 in the world with my legend and dealing with the same shit i left gears for. Games in general are losing their identities to corporate greed and misplaced trust. I fear most will never return from it but just stay true to yourself and do what you feel is best for your future and don't let this or anything else dictate your life. Stay blessed my boi

Ngl I love the movement in 5 despite being unable to do anything other than normal bouncing but He's so right gears in its current state is a almost no skill game unrecognizable from previous title. Switch a few binds around on controller and you can move crazy with no effort.
