I'm not sure how I feel about the scout who alerts others with a horn. Edit: I dunno if it is a skill or not, or just not in the game, but the ONE thing it is missing is the ability to drag bodies, ala Dishonored style. They did that the best, choke out and drag. Stealth is okay being slightly forgiving, however when it's slightly unforgiving that's when it starts to break. The whole experience has to feel fair to the player, alerting 1 guard and by defaulting alerting the entire base (even guards nowhere near the vicinity of the alerted guard) is definitely a stealth sin in modern games with stealth systems.

> Massive fucking two-handed hammer > hehehe stelmth Seriously though, really looking forward to the stealth kill mechanics. I'd spend hours in FC3 taking out outposts using only stealth knife kills. I have no idea how many times I've had to reload a save after messing up in Dishonored when trying to do Ghost, Clean hands, and no magic in one game - but it was such an engaging thing to do. I wonder if there'll be skills for chain assassinations? Good to see a variety in human enemies, I didn't realize they added a human goon. The scouts seem like a gamechanger, can't wait to start sniping them (or doing my favourite rat play: bring zombies to the humans and loot everything while they're busy. Those Rais's guys must have been so embarrassed when they returned to HQ without the loot they were guarding - if they survived, of course, which is obviously not my problem.) I noticed toxic spit on 6:48 like the one the Night Hunter uses in DL1 to summon rabid explodey boys? What's up with that? Or do I need to visit Novtex's channel to find out more? ) I was hesitant about checking out videos by other KZbinrs, since I was waiting for yours and already know that you deliver. I just wish they have good difficulty modifiers on the game. I feel like they did difficulties pretty alright in DL1. I noticed it less so in this video, but I just watched the OniZombies footage and noticed how incredibly easy the stealth looked. I mean mechanically it seems consistent and workable, which is great, but it just seems very easy in terms of detection ranges/angles/times as well as them not reacting to noises like the player dropping from a pretty big height very near an enemy. I REALLY hope that scales with difficulty in a smart way. By smart, I mean not just faster detection and that's it, but increased noise detection, bigger detection cone angles and all the other things I mentioned.

Always love games that you mention where you can almost stealth thru entire games with ninja takedown (probably because I suck at "spam all the buttons while fighting 12 enemy's at the same time"" playstyle). Kind of hope that there is a skill present in many other games that makes you loot the bodies of takedown victims while you take them down, its a great time saver. I wonder if a throwing knife at the head will always kill sleeping zombies from range or if you always have to get up close and personal (thinking of that howler down in the garage in that side mission some have shown). Cant wait to thursday midnight.

Dying Light 1 stealth system reminds me that of Far Cry 2 stealth. The one difference is that in DL1 if you kill an enemy and nobody sees that, you cover is safe. Meanwhile in Far Cry2 no matter how stealthy you are, the moment you take out ANY of the guards wether they see you or not alarm is raised. So atleast DL1 has slightly better stealth than FC2. In that regard DL2 blows DL1 out of the water when it comes to stealth, similar to what FC3 did to FC2 on that same topic.
