I agree with you her anti vaccine statement was ridiculous and I think the whole video was just damage control because her brand is suffering. I am bummed because I really like her tattoo liner but I don’t feel okay supporting her. The brown Sephora felt tip eyeliner is a pretty decent replacement for her brown if anyone is looking.

I used to really love her, but that was back when I mistook being an abusive asshole for being badass. I watched both Miami Ink and LA Ink, and when the latter started, her real personality really starting shining through. She's...ugh. It's embarrassing. She's in her late 30's, but she still acts like an immature edgelord 90% of the time. I really hope she turns herself around.

Yeah, after making this video I kinda took a look at myself and reevaluated, and honestly I feel ashamed for not really looking into her more, taking peoples' accusations more seriously, and just kinda letting it slide because I liked her makeup. Definitely boycotting her now, and am gonna steadily work on replacing her items in my makeup collection. There's just too much stuff out there now, too many indie brands with a dark aesthetic that I could be supporting instead of someone so problematic and unwilling to repent.

I have 4 of her palettes and I love the purple undertone of her witches liquid lipstick. I will continue to keep and use what I have but Im no longer purchasing from the brand. Thanks for an awesome vid!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌💕💕💕💕

Yeah, the egg protein in vaccines is because most vaccines are cultured in chicken eggs, BUT a lot of people are allergic to chicken eggs, and so in more recent years, there's been a gradual transitioning away from using eggs to culture vaccines, and most hospitals have access to allergy-safe vaccines, which are coincidentally vegan. Some hospitals only get a limited supply of egg-free vaccines, and so may be reluctant to use them for someone who doesn't have an egg allergy, but KVD lives in SoCal, and has significantly more money on hand than her average fan, so if her own doctor wouldn't sign her up for the egg-free vax, then worst case, she can probably fly out to another doctor who will. If the whole "technically not vegan, until the technology catches up," is her reasoning behind this, then she hasn't done enough research.

shes so full of it, i love her makeup i love her style but to associate yourself with people that supposedly have those beliefs makes you look really bad! Shes just really good at blaming others for her actions. I think shes just young and stupid and should be more of a adult especially now shes a mom! ugh shes annoying. Anyways great video!

I LOVED Kat Von D's makeup, in particular the lighter shadse she has for foundation since I'm super pale myself. But hearing about all the bad stuff, I don't want to support her anymore. Plus I found out how to alter the tone on other makeup foundations by using a white one from LA Girl, which is a cheaper alternative to her line of products. Also, wanted to say I LOVE your lipstick and nail polish! What colors and brands are they?

As a pasty MF’er myself, that’s one of the main reasons I first fell in love with her makeup too! KvD had the only shades light enough to perfectly match me back in the day, but now the makeup market is so over saturated; there’s no excuse to continue supporting her problematic ass. My lipstick is Rockstar by Coloured Rain, and my nails are duochrome press-ons by LA Colors I think? I got em at the dollar store 😜

People telling her they want her baby to die is awful. But she's kinda acting like she wants it to die when she chooses to not get it vaccinated. I really hope that baby doesn't get unintentionally killed by it's own mother. Good luck to you baby! I hope you survive!

Ughhh I can’t with her, I rolled my eyes so much thru out that vid, I especially loved that part when she was explaining how her being Latina excludes her from being a nazi 😂 and says she’s Mexican and proceeds to speak Spanish in some weird Spaniard wanna be accent, girl stop... 😩
