I appreciate that you consistently put the spotlight on real issues that need fixing, even if it means having to repeat certain key points across different videos until they're addressed by KI. Respect.

This is sadly very true. I started out fresh almost two years ago and never even got close to having an account be "pvp ready". (To be fair I have quit again since). Pvping was literally my motivation of starting the game. That is all despite me grinding like a mf. Completed the mainline quest in under a month TWICE. I raided (very successfully) within 2 months of playing. I even turned on my pc at 2 am to farm spellements with you, Liahm. Collected all decathlon pets too. But the newer raids that I didn't do and arc 1/2 spellements have kept me away from pvp. Another factor is the lack of guidance. Gear/spellement/pet grinding is one thing, but it is hard to motivate yourself to pvp when you know that you will be absolutely curb stomped, because you have no idea of deck building. S/o Ratbeard for letting the card meta change every week.

Same here came back only to PvP, leveled a character to 170 then they made raids and guilds a requirement out of no where. I was pvping when aeon gear worked but now u gotta raid and its probs been a year since i last was able to q

As a newer player who is in the awkward position of having done enough of the game pre spellement to only start getting spellements for ice hound when coming back(as an ice), I agree spellements are a pain. Its a great concept, but I don't want to farm them because they take forever. I know from the pain of not having them earlier on that they make a better playing experience, but even if you do it the most optimal way and farm them all right before you complete the next world, its a lot of time. I guess by the time your done, you've probably finished for all your wizards... if you only use one school's spells. And between meta and build shift, that means you probably do this for EACH wizard. And one might say, "Oh, its not bad because they give you enough spellements to unlock the first upgrade by questing." Well... that's only true for your school spell. You still need it for your sub school. So uh... it doesn't actually shorten the grind. You just end up with extra spellements. The system could use some help. It would seem the logical choice would be to give spellements for all schools or something... but that might be a bit extreme. IDK, but would be nice to use your sub school's counters to stuff naturally like your main school.

I just started playing again without membership after a 1 year hiatus and let me tell you I really think the game devs hate the players.They make everything so tedious and as a returning player it doesn't motivate me to keep playing the game.

It just feels like every update is meant to introduce some sort of money grab system. Spellements are a genuine good idea but the fact they are hidden behind pakcs or incredibly tiring grinding just ruins It for me.

By the time you get the gear you need to PVP, they release new stuff you need and you're burnt out (let's not even mention spellements and how many you need)

I'd love to learn pvp after maxing a wizard, however not having pvp pets, pack gear, raid gear, and pvp spellements make it all a huge time sink that i can't find worth it.

i agree they should be shatter proof but this seems less a barrier to entry and more a cautionary tale about chasing meta

Nah they fr need to get rid of raids in PvP. Meta is meta bc u just lose if u not, for example u dont have the right shad gear and ur opponent just gets more pips than u

was gonna start playing the game again for the first time in a little over a decade... but it blows my mind the 1st arc isnt free to play yet. i feel 0 desire to pay for membership for the next 3 or 4 months just leveling & relearning the entire game, then a shit ton of time/money on bis grinds

The pet topic has always been a big one for me and I think could be solved very easily; for starters, you could do away with the energy system required to make pets, the biggest complaints about pets was that, if you weren't a paying player that could just spend money on extra energy, then you would have to wait for a very long time (usually an entire day depending on how much you had) before you could start again, not only would this cut own on a lot of the time it would take you to get the perfect pet seeing as how you already get talents at random, but would entice more people to spend time and experiment at the pet pavillion. Then, you would also have to deal with the RNG, now if this were me, I would make it where you can just pick the talents that you wanted, but for those who figure that's on the level of "too easy" or "cheating" in a sense, you could have it where, whenever you level up your pet, you will get a "list" of talents that this pet is able to learn (and of course with hatching and what not you'll get more pools of talents available) and from there, it'll still be "random" cause obviously standard pets aren't always going to have really good talent pools, so this would cut down heavily on the amount of hatching and pets you have to grind through to max and with how much more manageable the system is here. Those are my thoughts on it though and this portion of the game would definitely benefit from these implementations.

1) Make the grind for everything a lot shorter of a grind. The game shouldn’t feel like a full time job. 2) Fix jewels to not shatter if they need to be removed. This has been a flawed mechanic since it got introduced that made a bad grind even worse. 3) Make gear sets that are both farmable and viable for PvP. I understand why the avatar set was made but it felt like a disappointment when I, having most of the dream reaver gear crafted, saw the avatar set be a copy-paste set. 4 (Definitely not going to happen but I’d like to wish that it would)) Make player stats fixed based on the school when entering PvP. For example fix storm’s pierce at 55% and damage at 200%, fix Life’s damage at 45% and 170% (imagine these numbers would be more balanced obviously). Let the only thing impacted by the player be the spells in their deck. It would still be a grind because you need to grind for spellements, but it’s not nearly as bad as grinding for everything else in the game. And it eliminates the biggest barrier to entry for PvP. Idk, I’d like to think there’s some hope for PvP but it seems like they haven’t listened for a long time when talking about what the players want to see.

If I am not mistaken, I was playing on my Storm last night finishing up Selenopolis. The Jewel vendor in the Marketplace sells the 6% pierce jewels that you can buy with gold and then go to the tree to whichever school that you are weaving into and craft the dual pierce jewels. I could be wrong though because I didn't have to buy any pierce jewels because I already had a couple of each of the schools that I wanted and only wanted two of the dual pierce jewels. Also in my experience the 6% pierce jewels are not to hard or take an unreasonable amount of time to farm in the Fortee Thieves Den.

@shadowears17 күн бұрын
@@bobsmith5634 I don't know! I could be wrong about that. You can either buy or craft them at the jewel vendor in the Marketplace in Selenopolis. I chose to weave into Balance on my Storm Wizard and I already had two 6% Balance pierce jewels and two 6% Storm pierce jewels so I didn't have to obtain any to be able to craft the two dual pierce jewels that I wanted.
