Thoroughly enjoyed this!❤️Thanks to both of you for opening up about this! It is so lovely to see other women (around my age especially) talk about Jesus and how to be the best version of you. We need more of this on every social media platform!

I'm a nurse too, I definitely feel you on those work anxieties and the nurse to patient ratios being pushed and pushed and the stress of it all.

I love this. I’m someone who struggles with depression and anxiety. I was working 5 days a week and I’m back to three because it was to much for me . I needed to slow down but my depression I’m isolating , not seeing anyone again I’m still working but I need to talk about it see a counselor again . On my days off I’ve been working out and starting working out again and it’s been feeling good

I struggle with schizoaffective disorder and seizure disorder and I'm glad you guys are bringing the topic of mental health to light. It's very hard to get people to understand you or be patient with you. But it helps when loved ones are willing to learn about your condition to help you. Sometimes an ear is all you need to understand what that person needs to help them. Thank you girlie for your words and testimony.

I am currently in nursing school and it is very stressful and overwhelming and the further I get along the more worried I get about being a nurse. I am scared of failing but I’m also scared of not being a great nurse.

I'm sure you're going to be a wonderful nurse. Don't give up. I will be keeping you in my prayers.

I feel like those fears and worries push us to be the best nurses, it shows how much we care. It gets better and the stresses will become different, and the thing that keeps you rooted is knowing with certainty that you are a great nurse and you are making a difference. It makes every stressful shift worth it.

Maddie as much as I appreciate your voice and your opinion Jesus does not always fix anxiety and depression sometimes the anxiety is so big that can’t be taken over by Christ

I used to also believe that anxiety and depression were too big for God but then I read a book called “Get out of your head” by Jennie Allen. I was reminded of Ephesians 1:19-21 and that if you believe in Jesus Christ the same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is within you and can do ALL things. Even far more then we could imagine (Ephesians 3:20)
