This is a great message because my friends at school did not encourage me or push me towards Christ so when I started going to church I felt really alone because God already had accepted them so I felt like I didn’t belong there so I stopped going but then they built a new place to have church called the next gen building and I had friends that I invited but I still felt alone. Then I went to camp through church and made a few friends from my life group and now I’m doing this kids camp to earn a scholarship for high school camp and I made three more friends there who were also volunteering there. The difference between my school friends and church friends are a lot of my school friends were one sided and my church friends listen, encourage you, like you for who you are, and it’s like a family.

Madi what you said about it being better to not be in a toxic relationship hit me hard. I had to end a friendship recently and it has been very difficult. But I thank you for giving me just another confirmation that I did the right thing. Even though it has been very difficult, I am at peace knowing that I made the right decision. And since then God has connected me with other believers, and I have been able to make some new and wholesome friendships:) praise Jesus🙌 and thank you again

This is so true!!!! Looking back at high school I never had friends who encouraged me, and everything they did rubbed off on me…now that I found Jesus & am surround by great community, I see they always push me close to Jesus, encourage me, challenge me, speak life into me!!! And it’s the best thing ever :)
