I've had both versions and I tried the manual 2021 version which seemed to reach the rev limiter too quickly. I bought the DCT and have no regrets, just make sure you get the recall done to eradicate the occasional stalling issue.

Is there a way to adapt it's height for a 6 foot 2 person? Higher seat and handlebar? Lowering the foot pegs doesn't appeal to me because you risk touching the floor on twisties

Yes! Get a '21 or earlier model with an inch higher seat. But really, the '22 should be fine. I'm 6'1" and my '12 fits me great. My inseam is 32" and its just a little stretch to flat foot. At first it was a little odd to have the pegs higher than you'd expect for a non-supersport but you get used to it and in fact it's surprisingly comfortable. It's a great bike and you'll love 3rd and 4th gear for fast local riding.
