Thank you Pierre, I agree - Knowledge is power. Glad you enjoyed the video. The images/ video shown are from previous years. The full article & report is on monolithic website. The video recording is literally provoded by the owner who stayed in during the horrific storm, as mentioned in the interview. Shows one what powerful structure it sure is!!

They won't let that happen. Think about it a dome home makes the most sense so why aren't they building that way? They need problems sorry but it's true. This can stop homelessness and give everyone a home but it would crush the system. And speed it can be built is another factor. I love this thank you guys for putting this out there.👍🇨🇦

Welcome to the channel Blayne 👍 You absolutely nailed it. While this is the d@rk side of reality & as mentioned you pointed out the why - we all can think outside the so-called pr0gramming, right. Spreading the word is another powerful tool. Research & hands-on application goes a long way. Thank you for the great comment - one should never sugarcoat, so it is much appreciated to say it like it is. You sure did. Comfortable reality is not real. Possibilities have always been out there. It is up to us to decide what choices we make / otherwise someone else will do it for you.

I attended one of the week long workshops about 18 years ago....really brilliant structures. I was gonna do a refresher course in early 2020 but with the whole lockdown, it was unfortunately cancelled. I did do an aircrete course later that year and I gotta say, your idea of putting aircrete on the outside is excellent. I finally have some property in WV where I can do this sort of thing. I may purchase one of their reusable airforms. Anyway, great interview Harry!

Thanks Harry!!! I’ve been interested in building a monolithic dome for years now. I’ve studied a lot about them, but I still picked up some new things watching this video. I especially liked that patio cistern build. I would never have thought of such. My area (Mississippi) is subject to droughts in the summer months. I like redundancy in important systems. I had considered an above ground tank, but that’s a much better way to go with improved disaster resistance. Thanks again! 👍🏽

@antiglobalisten8615
@antiglobalisten8615 10 ай бұрын
@@AircreteHarry Yes, but that can probably change in time.. The color "blue" refers to a specific range of wavelengths in the visible spectrum, roughly between 450 and 495 nanometers. Whether a laser can penetrate a blue surface or any surface, in general, depends on the following considerations: Wavelength: The choice of laser wavelength is critical. Different materials absorb and transmit light differently depending on its wavelength. If the laser's wavelength matches the absorption characteristics of the material, it is more likely to penetrate and interact with the surface. Optical Properties: The surface material's optical properties, such as its reflectivity, transparency, and absorbance, play a significant role. Some materials may reflect or scatter the laser beam, while others may absorb it, causing heating and potentially penetration. Laser Power: The power of the laser beam is essential. Higher power lasers deliver more energy per unit time, which can increase their ability to penetrate surfaces. Low-power lasers may not have enough energy to penetrate even relatively transparent materials. Material Thickness: The thickness of the blue surface also matters. Thicker materials require more energy to penetrate, and the laser's power may need to be adjusted accordingly. Coating or Protective Layers: If the blue surface has coatings or protective layers that are specifically designed to block or absorb laser light, it may be more resistant to penetration. Angle of Incidence: The angle at which the laser beam hits the surface can affect its ability to penetrate. A shallow angle may lead to more reflection, while a perpendicular angle may increase the chances of penetration... I do remember you did test the heat once. I think you had a blowtouch in for some time, with no penatration damage. laser weapons can achieve very high temperatures, often in the thousands of degrees Celsius or more, depending on the specific design and parameters of the weapon.

Does Mike South ever use basalt rebar? This is a deal breaker for me because I don’t want any rust or electromagnetic interference.
@greghellings
@greghellings 10 ай бұрын
Rust is mitigated by having the rebar completely encased in concrete. EM interference shouldn't be a problem with concrete reinforcement, should it? It's not even close to a continuous coverage. They do mention basalt in there, but in the context of the EcoShells, not the monolithic structures.
@AircreteHarry
@AircreteHarry 10 ай бұрын

Welcome to the channel Jill 👍 You are very Welcome, glad you enjoyed the video! It depends on the county & regulations. You know -. And this is the first time you comment?! I encourage you to do more of that - if you enjoy my work, your comments & feedback are appreciated & help my channel, Mark 👍 👍 - Lot's of work - Now to your comment, - Welcome to the channel, Mark! If one seeks knowledge, there is nothing stupid in asking questions and wanting to approach a subject / join a conversation. We can learn daily. Wanting to fit in only to be accepted, that's how someone else will make decisions for you, right. If it is your personal choice & preference, - do as you like. AND hopefully you live in an area where you haven't experienced any disasters (and then again, some are unpredictable, right) or have neighbors who like to burn their trash on a windy day while not paying attention - burning the neighborhood down. List goes on. Dome is the strongest structure to build that is THE benefit during a tornado/hurricane/ earthquake. I mentioned in many videos, and you may look up the same information online - fires won't effect a well build concrete Dome. Question for you - have you been inside a Dome yourself? Let me know.

Harry this going to make you think i'm Crazy but I am so remote here I don't even pick up FM radio...70 miles from Kingman and 70 from Flagstaff off I 40... The home of Route 66... ( i frigging have ghosts, according to my friend that has all these gadgets to detect them) This area is at 5500 ft... I have a conventional house (VA loan) .1983 build by a carpenter... Nice place... I don't know if you guys can tie into VA builds but would love to know.. I am a member of local American Legion. Properties here are not that expensive and have some restriction on Grant deed... Building Codes are I guess up to Yavapai County but guess are not that strict... Very old school here.. hense Square corners... i personally just don't want a bunch of dome homes turning up..( ghosts). Sorry... know that dome structures are superior in many ways but most people that develop use double wides... Maybe a comparison to Double wide expense would be a plus for you.? Wells hit at 2200 feet if lucky here so most are tanked in... Electrical grid is abundant. Maybe I should sing" i ain' t superstitious but a Black cat just crossed my trail" ha

@@markhutchins1124 Appreciate you Mark, keep up that energy, Brother!! (Not detecting any negative craziness, just the good stuff) As long as those gh0sts treat you with respect & don't cause any complications - one can coexist, right. As for the Domes, personally I've met so many people who have one idea of a dome shaped structure - let's say are skeptical - until they get to visit/ stay in a nice Dome structure. Something changes - the feedback has always been great, every single time. Similar to pyramids. Depending on a degree of a pyramid build - there is a specific energy that effects one's body in a very positive, welcoming way.
