It took a year for Esther to prepare for King Xerxes and during that time she had six months of beautification. A ‘glow up’ done God’s way takes time but is so worth it 😊

As a 61 year old woman, i agree with all you say. The glow up doesn't happen at a period of time. I am in continuos glow up; identifying areas in my life that I want or need to improve on. As soon as you get your money right, body in shape, move on to other areas fin your life for continuous growth and personal development.

I get up at 3:40 to workout. I meal prep on Sundays. After I workout I read for 30 min. Write for 30 min. It was hard at first....not so much now. It's no joke. I don't shop as much anymore. I do big shopping June and January were things are cheaper unless I really need it. I have so many things with tags. It's sickening!!! I couldn't get past the winter clothes. I just had to do better....an overhaul. It's been 3 months of discipline and dedication. On to the next quarter! I break things up in quarters to make things manageable. Thanks for this video 💛🤗

I'm 73 years young and this is one of the most informative and realistic videos I've seen on YT. And more importantly this is advice to utilize throughout one's life. Girl, you could be a Life Coach. Everything you highlighted is so important to realize your full potential. Aspiring to live an IG, TikTok, FB life is superficial and a waste of time and doesn't lead to personal fulfillment. Thank you so much for this inspiring and enlightening video. You have provided the road map now it's up to the individual to embark on his/her journey,

@shaunaboo961 you are so right about that. The thing is that sometimes the person who starts “hating” on you is the one you would least expect. You’re looking at them as “goals,” loving and admiring their accomplishments, etc. Happy to see them win, and you think your relationship dynamic is cool. But then when you really start making strides in accomplishing your own dreams, they’re cool for awhile, until you hit a peak (like a graduation, promotion, fitness …)! Especially when other people NOTICE?! Oh THAT’S when the ish can hit the fan. 😂 This happens a lot among family and friends. My theory about it is this. The dynamics change, as you change. Your habits change. The way you think changes. Your priorities change. Essentially, YOU change as part of the “glow up” journey. As a result, the way they see you changes. Whatever your relationship dynamic was changes. For instance, if they were seen as better than you, in some way, but now you’re measuring up to them it can be a big issue. You’re threatening their “position,” and maybe their self image (aka ego). IJS Why? Maybe they think that you’re a lot better than they are in other areas, but didn’t measure up to them in other areas. Well, now that you are, their “position” is threatened. It’s basic relationship dynamics that we typically don’t talk about. They felt superior to you in fitness and appearance, because they were more toned than you. They felt better because they were more educated than you. They felt better because they’re married. You can pick just about anything. When one of you begins to change, the dynamics change. Sometimes that works out fine. Other times, it’s an issue. My only point is, you’re right on the “caution” tip, but I’ve had that experience, and I thought I was around like-minded people who were better and more accomplished than me. And yet, what happened? “Comparison is the thief of joy,” is the main thing I’m gonna say. It’s taken me awhile to figure out, but we all have our challenges, regardless of how other people see us. There are things we like and things we don’t like about ourselves. There are things about other people that we wish we were blessed with, and they’re things about us they wish that they were blessed with. Mostly we just appreciate each other, but I’ve seen this dynamic a few times. It’s not pretty, but I’ve had and seen relationships get strained and end. Why? Glad you asked. 😂 Because your “glow up” somehow made them feel inferior, insecure, invisible, or even intimidated. Everybody gets jealous sometimes, but some people use it as inspiration, and move past it. Other people seethe with anger, and hold on to it. That ruins relationships. Long story short, I guess it depends on how people choose to respond. Your glow up can be an inspiration. I like it better when I see us be inspired by each other. When I see what you’re capable of, it makes me think “maybe I can do it too.” I’m all for the uplevel. I love excellence. ❤. Even listen to this content creator talking about “why do the pretty girls glow up?,” like she’s not a pretty girl herself. 😂 But she doesn’t see herself that way, apparently. I can see someone feeling inspired by her, and working to glow up, and she is perplexed, because they’re pretty already. It doesn’t matter how cute you are, some days you don’t feel cute. You see flaws that other people don’t see, or even care about. IJS. There’s so much more to beauty than external appearance. It starts from the inside and is radiated outwardly. As for me, I’m a lifelong learner and I’m gonna always strive to be the best ME I can be. #GlowUp I know that was long. Sorry.😂

Sequin skirt with short sleeve button down top, D'Ianu corset, graphic T with wide leg dress pants, tulle skirts for the office.

Deep. Especially about the mental. I’m a more mature person but that part about getting the mind right is key. I love your videos and your different looks. I’ve incorporated many and have received many compliments at work and for those after work spots. Working out, I’m up at 4 am to make sure I have enough time to workout, before heading to the office it’s early but I’m done and it lowers cortisol levels to workout before 8 am and I don’t have to worry about fitting it in later. Thanks so much for your content ❤🙂

This was so refreshing! You did an excellent job of really getting the truth out there about glow ups. I liked the way you broke it all down into simple steps. I am in the middle of chemotherapy for stage 4 cancer. I am trying to glow up in a diffrent way. I made up my mind to get as healthy as I can possibly be with cancer. So, when I'm done with treatment, I can really get back to my regular life! ❤ It may sound silly to most people to hear me say that, but, I feel this is my journey, I gotta live it!

Hi there! ❤ I love that you made this video. I thought you had a lot of good insights and tips. Thanks. At the beginning of the video (1:35) you said “why do the pretty girls talk about glowing up?” Did you look at yourself saying this in the video and feel just a little bit like a hypocrite? 😂 IJS How are you getting on here modeling, in full makeup, hair done, nails did, with jewelry that matches your outfit and asking that question? I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that this didn’t occur to you, since you went ahead and uploaded it. So let me help you with a little reality check. No matter what you’ve got going on in your life, sometimes you want to IMPROVE. That’s all it means. Someone else might look at you and think that you’ve got it all together. And by most standards, maybe you do. But there’s that desire (for me at least) to be the BEST me I can be. I’m not in competition with anyone, other than me. I want to be better tomorrow than I was today, and see what that looks like. In some ways I’m just curious and fascinated by the possibilities. Same with you, apparently. You’re beautiful. Skin glowing, and ALL that, AND you want to see the best version of yourself. I think it’s called self actualization. All of it is part of self love, which includes self discovery. And all the grit that you put in develops character. You’re learning and growing, along the way. The decision and journey makes you more resilient, self sufficient and secure. While you’re at it, you might want to consider getting Cassandra Mack’s workbook, “The 25 Components of Self Love.” I got it off of Amazon years ago. I think you’ll love it. That’s it for me. I want you to know that this video was an inspiration for me. It’s time for a “looks, life, and lifestyle” GLOW UP of my own. Thank you for sharing, pretty girl.😊
