Vincente Luque is exactly what I've been saying for years now. It's not about being knocked out, that's not that bad. It's about taking minutes of head trauma through fight after fight that are 15-25 minute wars. And this leads to my question, Weasle. Do you think that women's MMA has a higher chance of producing fighters that develop CTE than the men's divisions? They don't have the technical ability or physical stature to end fights at the same rate as men; they have no KO power, and they aren't as technical with their grappling and submissions. This would lead to much more fights for the women that go the distance. Mix this in with the fact that women in the UFC almost exclusively headhunt (when was the last time you saw one of them do damage with bodyshots and leg kicks?) So, all in all, they are in all out WARS for 15-25 minutes straight, fight after fight, with pretty much nothing else being thrown but headshots. Isn't that a recipe for CTE, especially when looking at how fighters like Vincente Luque have turned out?

On Ronda Rousey: I watched three of her interviews for her new memoir, and I don't see the negative angle Weasle brings up. Rousey says she retired because of concussions and fear of CTE. That's a reason why she left WWE too. She says it impacted her prep and fight with Holly and Amanda. And in one show when asked, Rousey said with a laugh she still considers herself the greatest fighter, though she knows others may not agree. If we want to call her delusional, it is no more delusional than other fighters. What is clear is her leaving WWE for good does suggest concussions were a reason for leaving UFC. It is true she never could bring herself to officially retire from UFC with a formal announcement. But she was devastated after those losses, contemplating suicide, which runs in her family. Makes sense she could not bring herself to say I quit UFC.

Hey Weasle! Fun fact: I'm Romanian and I can tell you 100% that Vlad was not killed by his own people by accident :)))))) historians in my country laughed a lot on national TV about this story from the show. The explanation is very simple: a medieval ruller, any medieval ruller, could not be mistaken as someone else because he would have been dressed in very distinct clothes in every scenario. Even a ruller's night time pijamas would have been designed in such a way that no one can confuse who he was. This was a safety measure widely spread in medieval Europe. The thruth is that we simply don't know how Vlad died. There is no evidence about it. Great channel, love it! MMA is very enjoyed in Romania.

Look man. When I was in HS, there was this big kid from NY that set a bunch of the schools weight lifting records as a freshman. He was known for scoop slamming guys and ground and pounding them badly. One day, this guy ends up at my front door with about 20 other guys, including his crew because of something he heard I said. My friends showed him to my house because they knew I could box and fight and they wanted to see the scrap, great friends, huh? My Dad answered the door, and I was obligated to go see this guy in my front yard out of sheer pride. I was a great wrestler for my size, which was significantly less than this guy who called me to fight in my front yard. But I was a boxer born and raised. Anyway, he shot right away and I sprawled the best I could, but at some point it felt like I was on my way to one of his patented Rampage style slams, so I did the one thing I could do. As my feet began to leave the ground, I leaned over and took a big chomp of his lower back like it was a $150 filet mignon. He dropped to his knees instantly, and I proceeded to feed him a barrage of nasty uppercuts and knees until he screamed “I quit”. I’ll always remember the shock on everyone’s face that was there, especially his guys, it was like a scene out of a movie.I never got a bad rep from my tactic, and as a matter of fact, every time his crew saw me coming in the halls and in the street, they went the other way. I became somewhat of a local legend with that win, and he and I actually became friends a while after.

Max is better than Justin everywhere minus offensive wrestling, and Justin rarely ever uses it. Max has better boxing, better footwork, better jiu jitsu, better cardio. Justin just has way more power and much harder leg kicks. I see Max winning a decision, but I'm excited to find out. Justin could shut his lights off at any time, I just think the volume will be too much.

After listening to Ilia himself, I can give you THE game plan to win…but, it DOESN’T lessen the odds of losing to him either. Ilia said himself, the path to victory is extended combinations. He said Volk has good footwork and a lot of movement, and would stop, plant, and throw…usually a 2-3 strike combo…then open guard for a moment to figure out which way to move. Ilia knew if he could throw with Volk, but keep throwing, he’d eventually catch him. Knowing this, all one would have to do, is the exact same. Don’t stop throwing til he does or someone is sleeping. It would be a very short fight in the middle just throwing. Someone would win was someone will lose. Lol

When Ilia is not defending with right hand it’s usually on its way to your chin. So yeah you have small window in between. Sounds like mission impossible

My thoughts on Jusin Gaethje, he is a very dangerous person to fight because his punching power is extremely strong and he will beat a man down until they fall or quit, on that note it is his biggest problem.. As hard as he hits , he lacks the ability to place his shot on the mark to get the finish.
