I used to judge people so harshly for collecting handbags, viewing it as a waste of money. But I know now that 1) that was my own biases against people I perceive as "rich" being bad 2) my own judgments of myself for not being as financially strong and 3) being in other peoples' business about what they should and shouldn't do with their money. I've since realized that other people get to spend their money however they want and they way they spend their money is not my business and also does not reflect their goodness or "right or wrongness" as a person. And it feels so much better to not be so judgmental. Love your channel and I love your content, thank you for showing up!! 😊 (enter)

This is relatable prior to my love of bags. I used to not care at all before. But in all honesty.. I think collecting luxury handbags taught me how to budget and understand the value of money so much more. And no. I never buy on debt.

Being picky is a choice and I choose to be picky because it demonstrates that I value myself and choose the best for me. I have suffered from anxiety and depression for as long as I can remember and that affects the way you value or not value yourself. Thankfully I am at a much better place today because I chose to be picky and started to put my health, myself, my life 1st. Today I have a million things to do but I chose to be "picky" with my time and watch this video and I'm glad I did...Be picky in life, it will make good things happen for you! (Enter)

I think everyone has their own interests and there’s nothing wrong with that, doesn’t change the minimalist mindset as long as each purchase is considered and useful. Also nothing wrong with picky, as a fellow picky person, I like to tell myself it’s a strong sense of self and means you won’t settle for anything less than what you need. Never a bad thing! Side note- your hair looks fabulous! Looks so natural and full ❤️ (enter)

I think one thing a lot of people don’t realize is that New Yorkers tend to have a lot of shoes, bags and coats. We *are* our cars and the pain/aggravation/discomfort of having the “wrong” shoe/bag/coat for the weather or need can truly ruin a whole day or outing. I fully support and embrace your logic in this video. Such a generous giveaway, too. Close to the color of my favorite tea, too! (Enter)

I don’t think you are being picky. You are just very careful in choosing and accepting things. We have certain expectations on things, people and other stuff and if those expectations are not met we will be unsatisfied or unhappy or even disappointed. I have been buying my luxury bags online because my first boutique purchase was unpleasant. It took 3 years before I tried going back to the boutique again and this time it was the same because they gave me 3 different items that were used and damaged. If I am paying for an expensive luxury item, I expect it to be brand new, no damage, and close to almost perfect.

I am just like you in terms of being "picky"! I am picky about everything, but I prefer to be described as "detail-oriented" because my attention to detail in everything I buy and do is top-notch! 🤣 Even when it was time to do the final inspection of our new home, my husband enlisted me to go with my dad (he is who I get my attention to detail from) so that we could compile a list of things that needed to be fixed or done! I’m a minimalist with lots of handbags! Minimalism is about having the number of items that brings you value, and not extra things that detract from the value. I loved what you said regarding letting go of pieces! After collecting luxury goods for the past seven years, the biggest lesson I’ve learned is that if a piece does not spark joy, I remove it from my wishlist/my collection. Sadly, although I do truly cherish all of my luxury purchases, I’ve come to the harsh reality that some of my favorite slgs (Louis Vuitton’s Gm Ring agenda cover and my Chanel vanity coin purse) are not practical and no longer spark joy. However, I find comfort in learning more about the pre-loved luxury market and adopting a healthier mindset by looking at these purchases as a learning experience and investment instead of just regrets! Nevertheless, there is truly something so empowering about splurging on a piece that I adore since, as a recent college graduate, I try and make sure I’m adhering to a reasonable budget (keyword: try, haha! 🤣) Since each piece in my collection was purchased during a significant period/achievement in my life, I am now saving up for a Chanel Classic WOC and a Chanel classic card holder for when I get accepted to law school! It turns out these luxury goods are an excellent motivator for me to study for my LSAT, haha! In the meantime, as I prepare for my next luxury purchase, I have really enjoyed learning more about luxury goods and the luxury market itself, so your videos have been a blast to watch! In fact, my guilty pleasure is watching your videos during my study breaks, haha! Have a great weekend, and see you next time! (Enter) ❤️

I love that you are picky! I especially love that you weigh all your bags. PS i would love to see a video of bags with usable external pockets...does anyone use the mona lisa pockets on their flap bags?

ENTER! Thank you for your generous and lovely giveaway draw! I would love to see how you style your outfits with your Chanel timeless classic flap bags. I struggle to put my outfits together with Chanel handbags. I feel like I look too "rich" and I don't want that kind of attention.

In the past when I was trying to be a minimalist, I came across your videos and you actually inspired and motivated me more; you showed me minimalist can be a broad term and that I don’t fail just because I bought expensive shoes or handbags. (enter)

Since I am picky, too (or I rather think of myself as being a person with high standards), I totally agree with you regarding the quality of pickiness. I have missed your special giveaway, which I think is so generous. Beautiful Hermes mug--such a lovely gift! Stay safe and be well! 😊

The fact that someone would try to make you feel guilty for using your money on something that you love is insane to me! I love handbags as well, as long as I have a nice handbag I’m happy.

Love this Q&A ❤. Like you, I am not attached to my bags in that if they aren’t working for me, I can let them go. I went through a period of time a couple of years ago where I was buying like crazy and now, I am so much more mindful about what I buy. A bag has to really work for me for me to make the purchase. And, I don’t think it is being picky - its just being mindful and true to yourself 😊 I don’t own a Hermes mug - it’s beautiful - thanks for your generosity in offering this gift to someone. (ENTER)

I always feel guilty when I buy something expensive for myself. I shouldn’t do that, you’re right… I should just be grateful that I am able to purchase something for myself. (enter)

Love the sentiment of replacing guilt with gratitude. Got my first luxury jewelry piece earlier this year as a push present and definitely had the guilt! Now I finally start to enjoy the piece. I totally deserve it and grateful to be fortunate enough to have a nice piece to mark this giant milestone in life. Would love to see your jewelry collection! I got my hubby a latte machine for his first Father’s Day and now he’s starting to make latter art. This mug would be perfect for me to enjoy the benefit of my present to him! Enter
