Ken ...look up some Chris Lyon backdrop painting techniques for some quick and reasonable looking backgrounds. Easy to do and it adds a lot to the layout.....but only if you want to, it's your layout !

Good morning 🙏 KEN Guten Morgan 🙏. Looks great. I was thinking, this was reminding me of my dad's mountain village in 🇩🇪. There was a ski lift and ⛷️ Ski jump. They could ski to your train🚂🚃 station. I get a kick out of the “As seen on KZbin” on the back of your hoodie, Kenny! It reminds me of the old TV show “Real People” from years ago. Not sure if it’s still out there but up until a few years ago there was an old billboard sign along I44 in Missouri for a business that has the line “As seen on Real People”. Obviously the place was on that show at some point. Being on that show was definitely a big deal! Loving the work you’ve done on the layout.

You can buy buildings at train shows cheaper or you can buy them online but those buildings we'll be more expensive.

Lotsa green and wondering if you can use that to do a green-screen backdrop as an experiment before painting anything on the wall. Kind of a CGI for the planning department.

I see that you got some John Deere paint. The green is pretty close. Imagine the lady at the paint store if you told her that you sure like that John Deere paint. The only thing different is that John Deere uses gloss paint. 😊
