biggest mistake in my opinion is they made venom sound like carnage. venom has more of a deep growling laugh while carnage is the one who sounds like joker merged with a symbiot and power rangers is already out saw it yesterday it surpassed my low expectations

TempestMauve because Bane's only advantage was that he was smarter and his (and Batman's) biggest disadvantage was his lack of super power.

Yeah, but to be honest the power difference is probably even bigger between Venom and Bane than between Batman and Spiderman. I mean Batman gets a somewhat important advantage in smarts (but mostly in preparation - Spiderman is quite awesome at improvising a strategy on the fly) and a minor one on versatility, while Spidey is the clear winner in power and survivability - in the case of Bane vs. Venom, the smarts difference is the only advantage Bane has, and he gets crushed in everything else, while Venom is accustomed to fighting ennemies leagues smarter than him.

James Akrane Well, durability too. Bane standing against Super Batman is comparable to Venom vs Hulk. But, evenly matched in one area and better in one other area, doesn't make up for being thoroughly outclassed in every other area. This was no contest.

The big difference is that, as far as I remember, Bane was actually harmed but Venom not so much. So I think he is even outclassed in that. I mean, Venom can litteraly just absorb bullets in his body, and can only be defeated by making the symbiote retreat from the host's body, which kinda mean that he only really takes damage when the symbiote is off.

James Akrane actually no. you can only damage the host but not Venom. And while Venom has his host he is almost invincible considering he once got turned into swiss cheese (by SHIELD lazers) and he just laughed and did some weird body movements(melted Venom movements) and then he was fine. Killing the Host is not killing the Venom. If Bane could kill the Host(somehow) then Venom can easily attach onto him.

Interestingly, Venom's Symbiote, having bonded with Spidey previously, makes him sorta invisible to Spiderman's Spidey sense. It has trouble predicting or warning Spidey of Venom's attacks because his sense still recognizes the symbiote as a "non-threat" so to speak.

I don't think bane was every actually winning for venom to turn it around. It's likely since venom has the personality of deadpool, when it looked like bane was winning, venom was only playing with him. Letting him think he was doing well.

They were giant because Peter Parker was having a nightmare. He was Venom's host at the time and was beginning to lose control and do things Spiderman wouldn't do.

I've always wanted to see a death battle between Dr Strange and Dr Fate because of magic or more interestingly in my opinion Vision vs Martian man hunter because they both can go through objects. How will they hit each other or if they are both phasing will they be able to match the molecular density to hit each other. Venom is now more of a anti-hero than a full on villain. He's become the literal god of the symbiotes as the legendary King In Black. Venom/Eddie Brock now also has a son named Dylan who also has symbiote powers.

It's not Jason. Apparently it's a bunch of different Rangers from all the various shows fighting... some other group. They said it's the biggest Battle they've ever done, and it was going to be the Season 3 finale. Then it was going to be the Season 4 premiere, but I guess they're doing it now in honor of the Power Rangers movie.

The animation is purely for show, they aren't saying Bane would have a rocket launcher to use against Venom, it was just there for a fun fight. As far as I am aware, Bane does not carry any weapons on him, its just his fighting skills, intelligence and his thing to give him Venom so he wouldn't ever actually have the chance to prey on Venom's weaknesses unless he had prep, which Death Battle forbids.

To be fair, Batman vs Spiderman was originally going to end in the similar manner where Spiderman shoots web down Batman's throat until he explodes (the same thing what Peter Parker swore he would do to Kingpin in the comics) but they changed that to something less brutal. I'm still not sure if I wanted to die by having my head explode but I'm sure there are some worse ways to go...

It was stated in Death Battle Cast that the symbiotes are loyal to their hosts plus the reason why the symbiote chose Eddie was because he has a similar mindset to the symbiote's. An ex-reporter who wants to kill Spiderman and a symbiote who wants to either posess or kill Spiderman is kinda an ideal situation there. In fact, Eddie is the symbiote's second most ideal host (the most ideal being Spidey) because of this very thing. True, Bane is stronger and smarter than Eddie but he doesn't have the same hatred for Spiderman. And since the symbiote's goal is to bond with Spiderman it sees Eddie's obsession with Spidey as a huge positive. That was a really poor explanation but hopefully you got the idea.

Haven't seen a review of it but I think its because it focused on too many villains so all of them were rather under developed and Venom was lack luster and the stupid dancing scene and emo Peter Parker. There were a variety of things people hated about it, hell I think Raimi even wanted to not use Venom at all but was forced to so he really didn't try with Venom. They really should have stuck to just two villains.
