I've been through something similar, he literally said the same thing "it's not you, it's me" he just made an excuse that "he couldn't fall in love". But bro was leading me on for months doing everything he could to convince me he LOVES me, so I said I liked him and he rejected me. Basically, just used me for validation and he liked the attention I was giving him. I gave up on love

Will, my gf broke up w me about 2 weeks ago, today I went down to bring her clothes and shit she left at my place. She was so cold and not herself. When you see someone who has no respect/desire to be in your life, it makes it much much easier to let go. Still will take time but certainly helps.

Bro same exact thing happened to me 2 years ago almost to this day with my ex of 5.5 years after I moved out. And funny cause a week ago she reached back out and confessed she regrets a lot of what happened and how she acted and told me the door is always open for us if we’re ever meant to be again but I say all this to say that I know what youre going through and it really is so hard and tough and lonely but I promise you, if you do it right by focusing on yourself and your future, and god, they will come back. They always do. Trust me, this pain shall pass.

@@CurSwag Thank you brodie I appreciate it! They always come back when you focus on yourself. I have been grinding in the gym and at work so we shall see. Have a date with a girl on Thursday so we'll see how that goes. I lowkey let her get away with a lot in terms of my boundaries (like family values, view of the world and stuff, not cheating lmao) but I want to find someone who aligns more with those. This might just be a great thing to happen to get me back on track tbh. I appreciate the words tho bro and wish you the best, do not get back w her!

I soooooo needed this! I messed up with a guy, got insecure and told him I felt I’m wasting my time in a drunk text. While I felt that way, I just should’ve found a better way to say it and not tell him I’m going to leave him alone. Now he won’t even talk to me even after I apologized. I realized it’s my fault and it’s been a week of no talking. I honestly have better things to worry about like finding a better paying job and getting a new car. If we ever talk again, cool. If we don’t, so be it. But for now I’m done dating and focusing on building a better life for myself.

Perfect timing-I'm currently going through a tough situation. I recently opened up to a friend about my past experiences with people who only valued me for what I could offer. When they asked for financial help, it triggered those old feelings, so I asked about their financial situation. Unfortunately, they think I’m comparing them to the people from my past, but in reality, I just wanted to explain how deeply those experiences hurt me. I’m not someone who expresses emotions often, and on the surface, it might seem like I have everything together-but inside, I feel lost, misunderstood and alone. There comes a point where you just get tired of constantly trying to prove your worth to others.

Bro your words always hit man.. and you're so right we do so much to change ourselves to recieve that satisfaction and we go as far as to do anything to gain that attention. We do have to be okay with loosing/gaining people and it is so painful but it all pays off at the end. Self-control is one of the toughest things but it's never impossible. Girl in my friend group chose me, showed me so much love and made my expectations so high and I really started to like her, but she out of nowhere said she doesnt know what she wants.... it just kills me to being just friends with her and seing her everytime our group hangs out. Im fine with being around her but its the fact when I see her it reminds me of all my thoughts back then so I get sad. I have to let her go but cant leave the friend group....

My situation is tough.. Ive been with my girl for 3 years, 4 years in May. We have a daughter together. Im from New Zealand, and came to South Africa just before covid. I got stuck here in South Africa in covid and ended up staying, got a job and continued till i could go back, then i met her. We were always planning to go to NZ together but now my reason for not wanting to lose her is because if we end up not being together i will lose my little family i built and never be able to go back home to NZ because i could never leave my baby daughter here. If our relationship ends, I'm never getting back home.
