I'm glad to see that you are doing well! Thank you for always being "down to earth" despite being KZbin famous, LOL. I was half surprised that when that new dimmer switch failed, you didn't just wire it into a knife switch on the dashboard! Straightening those taillight rings reminds me of getting a bent fork at a Cafe; and your repair is better than ServPro! Their motto is: "Like it Never Happened". You really "Laid Down on the Job", when you installed that brake light switch. 😉🤪 On that left taillight assembly, could you use JB Weld and glue some tabs to the housing, so you could bolt it in? That braided anti-chafing sleeve is nicer than plastic split-loom for sure; and there is a trick to fishing it (other than patience). And, this is a HUGE STEP forward! Happy New Year!

The lights look good operating like they should. There are some exhaust tips from a 1972 Dodge Charger that have some design on the sides that almost match your chrome bezel on the tail lights. Summit racing has some. They might stick out a bit, but it would keep people from hitting the tail lights, because they would smack their knee on the exhaust tips first.

yep, thats the first thing i did.. my expert says its most likely some moisture in the idle circuit.. maybe from the tank or residual from when we cleaned it in the ultrasonic with simple green.. thats coming up.. stay tuned!

They came with new red lens. I was hoping to someday get an old Flxible rear engine bus(which hasn’t happen yet. Nice lights though. My wife informed me that she wouldn’t be seen in one even if I made a motorhome out of one. So who knows what I’ll do with them. I just love the way you used yours , though.
