I think you need to review the noise it will make when you push the accelerator pedal (15:39). Good progress.

You're right. A bad impression. It will be a deeper rumble. A cultured V8 burble.

Love it , no brakes but you can still drive home😂

I should qualify - that's just how it appears. I might be quite wrong. You can see we're not exactly brim full of knowledge about how the MG works

I was more thinking the noise/sound of silence.

When are we getting some 928 non electric updates. Looking forward from Belgium 😀
@inCARnationAustralia6 ай бұрын
In the latest episode we're rebuilding the 928 brake master cylinder, so that's 928 content. But sorry to confess - a lot of what's coming up will focus on getting the EV bits working. Hopefully then we can return to making it functional, refitting the 928 interior, all the cosmetics, then finally the driving experience. But that's still in the distant future.

Great progress! No back seats for grandkids or small friends? Curious to why those HV components can't live in the boot?
@inCARnationAustralia7 ай бұрын
Couple of reasons : 1 The boot is going to be pretty chockers with cooling related stuff - pumps, hoses, reservoir, radiators. 2 I want the HV stuff between motor and invertor, to keep HV leads as short as possible. 3 Back seat area behind passenger will be full of electronics - a lot of the stuff you see scattered in the footwell at the moment, so I've already lost one seat. 4 in all my years of 928 ownership I've hardly ever tried to put someone in the back seat - my kids are as tall as I am. Just not a priority for me. And 5 I get extra 150kg weight dispensation by being a 2-seater not a 4-seater 6. Convenience - I'd rather work on that stuff from above where it's shielded from road grime than below min the transmission tunnel. It just seemed a sensible place - grandkids - when I get some - will have to go in other cars
