just wanted to let you know that Thunderstore Mod manager actually has lethal company support now, which makes this process significantly easier

I was having issues with the more suits mod with those using the manager and then not using the manager (like how Wurps was in video) like the suits were different and weren’t showing the same order (I’d have on the pink one but they’d see the skeleton one) - im not sure how to fix that- so having the mods set up being the same either everyone using manager or everyone doing it manually seems to be the best option for smooth playing

Use R2Modman instead it's an open source alternative that doesn't come with Overwolf bloatware

dude HD mod is a life saver for low end pcs tbh, I really love that mod, the only issue is that I still get laggy on experimentation moon but other than that its probably the most important mod atm considering theres no graphics settings in the vanilla

Thunderstore Mod Manager, or R2ModMan are both mod managers that support Lethal company, and are way easier to do that this video.

It seems the new updated pack doesnt have the more company mod(that i can see. i looked through the bepinex folder, plugins folder, and the config folder. can i just manually download the mod and add it like in the video without issues?

do mods auto download if you join a server with mods?, it some times lets me even tho idont have the mods and it shows me the mod list but other times it just gives me an error

I’ve actually found a couple more client-side mods for Lethal Company that i believe you’d be interested in. I’ll type out a list here in the replies with the mod names and a quick summary of them if you’re ever interested.

Mod Name: WalkieUse Summary: Like FlashlightToggle, this mod will allow you to use the walkie without holding the need of holding it out. When the walkie is on, you can hold (R) to talk into it.

Hey quick question; Do any of these mods require other people in your lobby to download them and which are client side? I have a friend group I would love to use some of these on (I usually host) but it sometimes takes a while for them to download mods off the thunderstore.

Most of them are clientside, but the suits requires mods to be similar to each other to show up accurately. These packs are a convenient way to get all friends on the same setup quickly at the cost of taking more time to update in the future (not that it's hard, but some people don't know how)

Does only the server host need these, or does everyone need to install them?

It varies, but most of these only require you to have them. The expanded lobby size mods require everyone to have them and the more suits require everyone's installations to be the same in order for the suits to match up correctly (but still playable)

I can't get more company to display the customization window. It doesnt seem to work for me when i move the dll file into the plugins location. Any ideas? Thanks!

Is your bepinex installed correctly, do you have other mods you're using? I believe the customization button only shows up on the main menu before games as well

if i host and install helmet cameras caan everyone see that first person view on the 2nd monitor even if they dont have it installed or does everyone need it installed to be able to view that first person view

There are some mods that get angry when not all players have them. Any lobby size changers or more suits mods will likely be that way. I have also heard of some mod makers leaving an option in the config file to require all players to have them. There was a "more sounds" pack that was that way, prolly more.

The mods do the same thing but have different servers displayed by different people, you will need to use whatever your friends are using. If you don't have friends, probably use MoreCompany as it has more people using it (to my knowledge)

No, but it will if you use certain mods that specifically change your server list such as the larger player count ones. Many mods (most) will not prevent you from playing on unmodded vanilla servers and you can still have them work.

hey i can see ur good with these mods, do yk why my more suits mod loads up but none of the suits are there ive tried reinstalling checking if they are disabled (which they arent) and they still dont show up ingame not even in the store

Not sure, maybe check any known mod conflicts (disable all other mods, see if it works by itself), I forget if the host actually has to have moresuits for the extra ones to appear on the rack, if you're not the one hosting try that to see if they show up. Could also try manual mod installation instead of thunderstore

@@Wurps ive tried the manual install and did it as a host i havent tried the thunderstore install but in the log it says that it runs just fine ill try disabling every other mod when i wake up hopefully itll work if not ill try to install it using thunderstore

There's 2 shiploot.dll files on the mediashared file, both are on the plugins folder but one is on another folder named shiploot. Is this intended?

Anyone's hotbarplus chain dropping not working? I have the value in the cfg file as "true" UseItemQuickDropConfig = true I tried version listed in the video description, v.1.32 & v.1.3.1 & none of them work for chain dropping.

@@Wurps To add, you can also just rename the BepInEx folder. I'll usually set it to xBepInEx when I don't want it to open, and the game boots as if it's not there.

while some of these mods are fun, some of the "quality of life" stuff kinda goes against the spirit of the design. I believe the developer said somewhere that he intentionally designed certain mechanics to be obtuse, as the fumbling to get the right item, or turn on your flashlight adds to the horror.

I've never really fumbled or been rushed to turn on my flashlight, just a small layer of busywork

While I understand the intent behind the design, I feel like it's still poor design. The problem is that once you've played this game enough the horror aspect kinda goes away (since that horror mostly relies on fear of the unknown), and all you're left with is a clunky control system that no longer adds anything to the experience. It works as a gimmick for the developer's intended purpose, but once that gimmick has worn off it just makes the game (slightly) objectively worse than it needs to be. I do think the dedicated flashlight button is a little more beyond quality of life though. It enables you to do something you wouldn't otherwise be able to do, such as toggling flashlight while holding a 2-handed item. (Likewise for the dedicated radio button mod that exists out there)

I think the ship scanner mod in and of itself would be a cool item, costs like 125 and adds a laser scanner above the monitor that scans the entire ship at once and gives you an accurate count. Kinda makes sense lore wise too as nothing the company gives you is anything beyond necessary and makes you pay for anything extra.
