I work in underground cable and aerial. The problem you guys have is a bad kinked hardline or a node with bad balance. Just saying tell ur internet provider. They can fix it but it probably would take a few months till they actually get to it.

Which actually, a huge thunderstorm just hit and fried our router. Luke Patrick ok so, if you have an old version of ps4(fat model) it doesn’t have a powerful WiFi card. Meaning that it cannot handle and receive 5g WiFi( because usually spectrum has 2 WiFi types one 2g and one 5g). However, if you connect it with LAN, it doesn’t rely on WiFi card anymore and it receives as much as internet it can. If you have a slim or pro version, you can receive 5g internet with WiFi, but you can still use LAN because it also removes packet loss problems. I personally have an old ps4 version and after a I used lan, my speed went from 20 mbps to 170-200 mbps. Hope that helps.

I went from 49mbps to 375-450mbps download speed! Dude thank you so much! For everyone else thats doing this and not getting good results you have to see which one of the DNS server #'s in the list he shows works for you, the one he used in the video was alright but i found a better connection from one of the other numbers (as of writing this i dont remember which one but i will edit when i figure out). Edit: Mine worked better on the OPEN DNS server, but im east coast US, if you are west coast you may have to use different one, like he says in video.

THANK U SO MUCH BRO. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIX THIS FOR 48 HOURS STRAIGHT. I needed to reset my router Linksys Cisco E2500, after the reset, my mac could not run the software as it was 32 bit, so these settings in my router couldn't be set. I tried EVERYTHING. Even DELETE all data and firmware on ps4 and reinstall with usb. I even had to use the usb which had games for my Wii on it. Wish I had done this sooner... Now my Wii is broken lol! But THANSK A LOT
