Many of the people who were selling crack didn't want to go to school, they didn't want to work and all the wanted to do was make quick money. Im not putting all this on the government. To someone who's struggling I could see how making"easy money" would trump those nonbeneficial options(which was exactly what the government wanted us to do) The government created crack and gave it to our community as a way for us to think we're making" easy money" when in actuality we were destroying our community,which is what the government wanted. They wouldn't be able to make "easy money" if they weren't given crack in the first place. So anything involving crack still involves the government in some way. Crack was created by the government as some kind of "double whammy" in their favor,they gave us crack to kill and incarcerate our people. Half was being killed by it and the other was being jailed for it. I'm not even going to touch the "Natalie Cole created crack" because that's just ridiculous.
