Lets Build a 500amp supply

BBI, these high amps and power supplys are cool and all, but could you show how to build something for 120 volts for a simple rig but be able to get out and talk to folks. A simple 2 pill and simple power supply. Great work, by the way.

The same concept apples put 2 supplys together if they are 50 amps a piece run it on 110v u could probably get 4 supplys to run on 110v butt 220v is way more efficient

I have a 1200 amp with BBI style ,1200 w pd 30 power supplies,it's easy to build,plus I have 12 more ready when I need them.

Have you considered making a tutorial DVD on building one of these power supplies and selling it? I am interested in buying one if made available. I'm an amateur hobbyist with some electronics skills but very limited. I watch yours and other videos to learn more details. I'm 62 yr old veteran and disabled so this is how I pass my time, and it's for mine and 1 of my cousins' personal use.

great supply. i build my own. but I go full metering. AC input volts/AC input volts/AC HZ /DC volts /DC amps/ TEMP . I like to see everything . 73's

Hi BBi! Is there no way to just transform 220'v ac down to 15V, rectify it down to DC and somehow miraculously pull 500 amps without all the separate power supplies? I suppose if it were that simple you would be doing it already? Or maybe too costly? Or maybe nothing by itself is rated for 500 amps?

Mr BBI what about using these devices and made 24v 500a? I already using 24v but just one 2 module. Can we use these as car emergency starter or they just shutdown because of pull high amperage instantly.

I have a question. When you first told us about these types of switchers, I only bought 2 thinking that would be enough. Well I was wrong. I need to buy 2 more to go with the the other 2. Where can I buy these now without breaking the bank. I'm sure the person we all bought them from the first time is sold out by now?

Question....i see your new viking tester, but your using a clamp amp meter...will that tester not show amps produced?

A lot of the amps that you build or repair dwell on the verge of illegal.
