Hi Oak! Thanks for an awesome video! I'm so happy I found your channel! Have been playing WoW since 2004 and never knew this existed. Just started tanking on my guardian druid, gonna try your macros and GSE asap! Do you have a GSE macro for brewmaster and blood death knight as well? And please a last request, would be awesome if you could post a couple of tanking videos where you use GSE macros in a normal/heroic raid or mythic+. I'm sure many would like to see it. Inspire us Oak :). You are the best!

I definitely plan a brewmaster and hopefully soon. I'll see what I can do about a raid tanking video as in not usually the tank, I main ret. That and I haven't quite figured out how to remove discord from videos for those people who don't want their voices included.

OAK!! - This is amazing - but is there anyway to edit it to allow me to cast lunar beam, rage of the sleeper, and berserk(Incarn) manually instead of having them cast on CD? THANKS!!

You can definitely edit the sequence to change those things to your liking. This is why I show you how you can edit/make sequences. To hopefully show you that it's not hard to change things, or even build one yourself. :)

@@oakensoul I went into the sequences and removed the line for Rage of the sleeper as a test and it still used the ability despite there being no actual line in there. Was weird. Will have a play around with it more tomorrow.

Just came across this. Tried your BM set up but wasn't clear if I was supposed to push the keybind repeatedly or push it once and it just keeps going? Pushing once didn't seem to progress the BM one (could have been me).

You have to press it over and over. Most people use their keyboard software to spam the key while they hold it down.

Can shorten things in macros such as /use spell instead of /cast spell, dont need spaces in conditionals, so ie [combat,noflying,nochanneling] and not [combat, noflying, nochanneling] and dont need two null in sequence.

True. When I'm typing things out, my brain wants to automatically put a space after commas, but yes, we can lose those spaces, and may need to, if we ever get that close to the character limit. The goal is to NOT get that close to the character limit. ;)

Is there any way to make the whole chain reset when it successfully casts a spell with GSE? 1-12-123-1234 is eventually gonna waste GCDs on something not optimal. Would be a lot better if it reset the whole stack when it successfully cast an ability. Fewer chances to cast something at the bottom of a prio list.

GSE is not smart. Addons cannot tell if a spell actually successfully casts. The point of GSE is to go through the sequence fast enough and have your abilities laid out in such a way that you increase the mathematical probability for the proper spell to be the one to go off. However, it's essentially luck based.

I use my mouse wheel for my GSE macro, it's not letting me use the mod keys (ctrl,shift,alt). When I bind my macro to a key (Z) I'm able to use the mod keys... any ideas on how I can fix this?

There may be a conflict in your key choice. Like for Z, I know that in game there is a default keybind to hide your UI using alt+z, this would prevent you from being able to use this as a mod in the sequence. Go through your keybindings and addons to make sure there are no conflicts.

OAK please can you help? I love the macro but when I play DoTC is there a way to make Ravage go off in AOE? It's tied to Maul so only works in the single target one.

@@oakensoul got it sorted mate. Added a /cast Ravage line at the start of one of the blocks. Now it works like a dream, both Raze and Ravage being cast in the sequence. Using "Ravage" rather than "Maul" means that it only casts the Ravage proc, and otherwise continues with the sequence you had originally made. I also took our Rage of the sleeper, lunar beam and Incarn as I prefer to use those manually. Great stuff!!

Yeah, feral is tough to build a sequence for. I had one during dragonflight, but the combo point spenders were really just luck.

Wago links were broken. Wago Imports have been fixed with the 3.2.11 version of GSE. Make sure you update and they should work now. :)

Hello! Wanted to try GSE and this sequence out but it does not seem to work. Are there things that usually disrupt the sequence? I saw someone say that you cant use ElvUI with bound modifiers for SHIFT, CTL and ALT. Could that be the problem? Thanks a lot :)

Its not really elv_ui dependant. It's more based on if you may have those keys already bound elsewhere

@@oakensoul but thank you for showing me GSE, i can put mangle and thrash in the same button is game changing.. i have 1 macro with Castsequence reset=1 raze/maul, ironfur, ironfur.. and /cast ironfur /cast moonfire in 1 macro.. i dont know if you even use swipe anymore with elune hero talent

complete noob to this but in a dungeon or raid environment how do you taunt and get all mobs focused on you before you start the sequence

For a bear, you dont gather mobs with a taunt, you swipe/thrash to get aoe agro, which the sequence will do for u. :)
