I’m impressed! I’ve been in garment construction (specializing in women’s bridal and formal wear), just a couple years shy of sixty years!! You’re the first person I’ve seen explain this!! You’re an excellent teacher and tailor!! You’ve earned my respect!! I look forwards to your next video!!

Zippers can be expensive- for anyone out there wondering how to get a drawer full of zippers without spending a fortune, spend some time digging around the craft bulk bags from goodwill! I have over 100 zippers that I’ve probably accumulated for no more than $30. Each bag at the goodwills in my area ranges from $3-$8 and any craft supplies that come in the bag I don’t need or want go to friends or back to goodwill! Most of the bags I snatch have at least 5, and I got a bag once that had over 20 zippers in it! I have so many fun colors and sizes to make pouches and bags from, and sometimes you’ll find an unexpected surprise - I got an entire FPP quilt kit in one! It’s super fun!

Great advise! My zippers mostly came when I local fabric store was closing, I got a big paper grocery bag FULL for $5!

Zippers are not an issue to sew but getting the stop or whstever it is on is a pain
