What you percieved as a weird name is simply the german word for noodle. Sounds exactly like noodle too :)

15 minutes for a logo is too harsh! But also, maybe next time try drawing ideas by hand, I think you'll have more ideas without spending time on making them look like an actual logo in Illustrator. I wonder how many ideas can you get in 15 minutes without making them look perfect!

How do you do a logo redesign if you're required to keep the typeface of the old (really particular typeface)? How do you create a sort of icon that integrates well with an old custom typeface?

Great video. I could see a combination of the three noodles, being pulled out of the box vertically by the chopsticks... 3-4 minutes sketching beforehand may have saved a little time in the end.

Really enjoyed this video! It was insightful to see a bit of your process and just encouraging yourself to get the idea out there and moving forward to create something new. But I will admit, it was a stressful 15 minutes lol- it I was doing this, it would just be one idea and then panic after that.

The box from the logo looks more like french fries box than noodles maybe if you make the V part more of a \_/ and add the ︴︴︴as of noodles and also the heat coming out it would be a nice variant because i like the idea of chopsticks and box ⭐

The noodle box kinda has an "M" in it, i think it would look better if it had an "N" for Nudel. i know it would lose the box shape but i believe it would still be recognizable with the chopsticks on top

Could you do this kind of video but for property/housing development? Its a bit of a niche thing but I see a lot of product branding videos but not many for branding for a service orientated business.

Generally I think your stuff is great, but this, honestly was painful. Bring out pen and paper, or if it really has to be digital, the iPad. Actually trying to make it look nice (while also trying to not try to do so) while generating ideas, was a super weird thing to witness. The countdown clock with that much movement in the lower left corner, was also quite distracting. If you were to do this again: Tape the ideation separate and then make a voiceover. The talking about ‘good, bad, artifacts, panic, looks like shit, not quite what I want’ takes an awful lot away, when all you’ve got is literally 15 minutes

If you know illustrator like the back of your hands, and have all the design principles on the tip of your fingers, putting together something competent looking within 15 minutes is possible. If it was a real job, he would probably do more research about the clients business and learn about the environment to get the exact logo that sells the brand better to a targeted audience. Also he would probably experiment and do a lot more logos to see what works better.
