Loving these new songs from unleash the archers! Cannot wait for the album. If you wanna look at more UTA, checkout the lyrical content on tracks like the cowards way, or the Matriarch. Amazing stuff!

I lookout for your reactions every time an Unleash The Archers song gets released lol you should react to a song on their first album to see how different it is, like the song “Filth and Fable”.

@Braindead Breakdown: Honestly, Ghosts in the Mist sounds very similar to my ear almost like an '80s power ballad, except heavier and faster. That said, there is a big difference in sound between Phantoma and Abyss. Abyss was more mid-tone with the bass tone than it sounds like we're going to get from Phantoma. This is due to Abyss not having a regular bass player in the band, I think. But even then, I think Nick Miller, UtA's new bass player, has a much heavier overall tone than did even Niko Whitworth, the bassist on Awakening. And because Nick's tone is lower than Niko's, we get an overall heavier sound from each track that we've heard so far. Even Green & Glass had a much lower tone than Abyss did, which is why Andy's guitar in Green & Glass reminded me not of an '80s sound, but rather reminded me of Avenged Sevenfold's guitarist and his guitar tone. Which, by the way, if you're reading this prior to May 10, Phantoma officially drops on May 10.

I bet you'd like The Matriarch! And their older stuff like the 2009 album Behold The Devastation is really heavier and grittier
