You should go thru those newspapers in the closet. Years ago two doors down from us an older couple passed, and the kids cleaned out house. Well they had been saving newspapers for years and neatly stacking them in the basement. Kids used a moving dolly to put some stacks out for trash each week. On the third week stack fell off the dolly as they were moving and bills started coming out, some old silver certificates even. They the had to go thru the whole basement full, they didn’t know how much they threw away the first couple of weeks. They did say that one stack(floor to ceiling) gave them over 10 grand. They had someone stay at the house till they were done, never did say how much they got in total, but it took them months

We grabbed them all on another day, I still haven't flipped through them all but there were a few from when the Japanese surrendered in WWII

I think that vampire graphic page was either from Dynamite magazine, or the Electric Company magazine, it looked really familiar... i used to love reading Dynamite magazine! Lol... the Hot Wheels garage set looked cool. I hope you do a video showing all the cool toys in better light too.

It could be it had that type of feel and we did have a bunch of Dynamite magazines in the house. We are working on vids going through collections as we speak, stay tuned for Star Wars 😉

0:54 Oooh that magazine he grabbed is a comic strip version of the Empire Strikes Back movie! When I saw it at the theater in 1980 they were selling it & a couple other similar items in the lobby- I bought that because it was thicker than the others. I assumed it was full of posters, pictures & movie facts. Was disappointed to find it was comics

This is very bizarre I've been watching episode after episode of this house find. These people bought all these toys and things never open them just hoarded them away untouched very bizarre. It is like a time capsule of everything's 80 80s

I think there maybe more money in vintage clothes in that house than toys and that is saying alot. I have seen jackets and t shirts that should bring 100.00 plus all over. Also in one of the videos they were pulling out old Pampers diaper boxes that were full. Might want to look at the value of those on Ebay. I found some a few years back passed on them and then just goofing off looked them up I was kicking myself

Amazing find..just curious how you make your offer..."all the toys", or "all the toys and games", what about the books and catalogues?

I had made an offer on the toys but the owner was only looking to sell the everything and no break it up so I ended up buying the contents. This worked out in this instance since there is so much stuff I would have never found if I had just bought the toys I had seen on the 2nd floor. All the stuff hidden away in the closets etc.
