Thanks so much for watching everyone! What do you think of my pitch? And thanks once again to Imablisy's insanely detailed competitive Pokémon videos! Check them out in the description

I get that this is the point of the video, but wow this is actually straight up a perfect amalgamation of just about everything in Pokémon that I love. I need this game ASAP. From the tuning of the game’s structure to the choice of side content, and catering to all types of players, this really feels like the ideal Pokémon game. I’m honestly shocked at how like, most of the things in this video haven’t actually been done yet. And to anybody thinking or saying “Oh this is way too ambitious and big of a game to actually ever be made.” Or Anything like that, may I remind you that this is POKÉMON. THE THING THAT HAS MADE LITERALLY THE MOST MONEY. Amazing vid as always and can’t wait for what’s next!

I really like everything in this video! I never really liked how overlooked pokemon interactions were in the games, be it pokemon-pokemon or pokemon-player interactions. And the personal resort idea works perfectly for that. Also, bringing contests back is great! I agree that they really needed to be more focused on, especially maybe being encouraged to use a separate team for them.

I'm glad you liked the ideas! My partner and I might eventually plan to turn this into an actual game (as we're planning with some of the other pitches on this channel haha)

Ngl, I feel like the Gym leaders scaling to your levels would be a horrible idea, less we forget every Bethesda game and how that idea failed.
@angeldoyle8596 ай бұрын
It could be like cassette beasts does it with adjustable level scaling (you can change it as a difficulty setting at any time), and having played through cassette beasts, it works near-perfectly for open world experiences by actually letting you do the gyms in a different order and still get the intended difficulty experience

Level scaling works perfectly in Cassette Beasts, Which also does the multiple route formula similar to Sc/Vi and my idea, and its also a 100% open world game, and it works perfectly.

If they don't scale to your exact levels, they would likely scale based on how many gyms you've beaten. For example, gym one would be level 15, and gym 2 would be level 23. No matter which gym you choose, the first one will be level 15, and the second one will be level 23. Then, you could go for more specific level scaling in post-game.

@@AstralKat Contrary to what some people might believe, ScarVio isn't a 100% open world game, since some aspects are locked behind certain events (You cannot surf in deep water if you haven't unlocked the surfing ability on your boxart, meaning you cannot get everywhere, same with the climbing + the Great Crater cannot be accesed).
