It’s a risotto spoon! There’s a hole in it so when you’re making/mixing your risotto, it doesn’t break apart the grains and helps with developing the creamy texture 😉👩🏽‍🍳

The flower butter mixture just like everybody else said makes it thicker, but you can also take it to the next step when just doing that mixture and add milk to it after you were done black pepper and you have a very basic gravy for biscuits and gravy add sausage Ps: I would suggest topping your soup with some bacon pieces

I know this was a year ago but try adding celery and shredded carrots that's how I make my cheeseburger soup and I'm glad you use the velveta also add parsley and basil mix the sour cream into the soup as well all these changes with make it wayyyyy better

If you put a wet paper towel under your cutting board it won't move like that. Also, get a little knife and peel your potatoes...much faster and easier. If you cut your potato in half length wise then cut those two sections length wise then you can dice. Much easier.

My BIL does virtual guitar lessons…so maybe you could look into that? The flour and butter helps to thicken the soup. I still recommend you use a bigger knife for chopping! It’s a lot easier and safer.
