I’m thinking a slice of sourdough for dipping. But I love the idea of fried cheese, too-and without bread it should work for Keto.

I made something that taste similar to Taco or Burger meat. I heat up some pinto beans (Mexican brands preferred) in a small pot and then grill up some chorizo with white onion on low heat. Then I mash up the pinto beans for a thick consistency and turn my chorizo to high heat and add pickles and fine cut garlic. Then I add the chorizo mixture to the beans and add Cajun seasoning and onion seasoning. I leave it on low heat for a while to let the flavors mix. Then I take it off heat and let it relax, at cool temperature people always think it’s some sort of burger or taco meat when really mainly beans. When it’s cold it makes a fantastic dip that taste like taco/burger meat.

I can really relate to you and your culinary skills , well done young lady :) You can't be shitting us saying how good this soup is, so I'm going to build a batch of it on Tuesday. I'm so very curious about this one. It's -40 frick'en below. :( Soup is a must... I have 1 container of frozen Borsht left and then I'm out of soup. Time to make a creamy clam chowder as well. That onion Ring recipe of yours looks killer good but I've never tasted a better Ring than a deep fried Ring , but then again I've never tried ANY air frying yet :( Last year Santa looked at my Christmas list and said "F U buddy, deep fried is way better, than baked"! He then belched a couple of times while walking away saying , "maybe next year sucker ! "

For a time-saver, use dill hot dog relish rather than chopping dill pickles.

You could use processed Swiss and some mushrooms for a mushroom Swiss burger soup!
@TheSaltedPepper3 жыл бұрын
Yes! I think that would be delicious! I would probably mix the Swiss with a milder cheese like Monterey jack so it isn't so overwhelming.

If you place the cheese in the freezer for a hour or so its easier to shred. *update * I've made this soup twice now and my son and I loved it! Unfortunately I couldn't convince anyone else to try it, they all turned up their nose at the pickles in the soup, fine by me just more for my son and me!
