This is a fun series, PR! It’d be awesome to see you play to the end! I never knew this game existed and I now kinda wanna give it a try (if I’ll be able to be patient with Raoul’s tedious walk cycle lol) You mentioned in previous video, when the game mentioned that Raoul is a detective from the Sûreté, that for whatever reason the name of the police force aren’t mentioned in many Phantom adaptations but it rang a bell, sure enough there’s a super quick mention of the Sûreté by name in the musical during the first Notes sequence! Why nobody bothers to go to the police sooner in most if not all iterations of this story baffles and mystifies me the most 😂

Dear Mr. Reviewer I would first like to say thank you for all the Phantomy goodness for all these years and I am always happy to see you post anything new. Secondly, I am not sure if you have seen this new play. If you type in "Phantom of the Opera: a Non Musical Adaptation by Kyle Walker" you'll find it. It's certainly interesting. On one hand, it follows Leroux, but on the other hand, it changes some things. There is this awesome scene where Christine stands up to Erik which makes their dynamic even more interesting. Also, have you considered reviewing more Phantomy books? There are plenty out there, like "Letters to Erik: The Ghost's Love Story" by Ann Wallace. This follows right after the events of the Leroux novel and, unlike Fredrick Forsythe, Wallace doesn't dismiss the original work. Also, take a look at this trilogy called "Chanson de L'ange" by Paisley Swan Stewart. What is interesting about this series is more of an alternate universe, a retelling "drawing inspiration from the Opera Ghost in all his incarnations", as told by the back cover. The author also has a tumblr page too, so if you wanted to talk to her, you could. Sorry that it's a very long message, but I just wanted to throw some suggestions. So glad to have you back and can't wait to see you solve this game, Best of luck!

Hi Christina, I really do need to get round to looking at reviewing that play, I have watched it some time ago (at least I think I have, is that the one with the Lon Chaney / Leroux intro?) and enjoyed it. I will also do some book reviews on "Those Rosy Hours at Mazandaran" and maybe a few more in the future...

I don't think the game developers fully understood your plight Phantom Reviewer..... ... after all, that scene said it only took Raoul five minutes to get to Christine's dressing room. Also I couldn't help but notice that this Raoul also fails to knock on the dressing room doors.
