So there are rumblings that Disney might be working on a YA film series based on The Phantom of the Opera with Kenny Ortega and the creatives behind the Descendents film series.

I think the only "Phantom" movie with Raoul being a really good character, is the Herbert Lom version. I think, in that he's called Harry Hunter.

I always saw the things he did with fire and piano and all as his magic tricks and his inventions.so for me those things are amazing. totally agree with Prima Dona parts, and I hate how lately they let Raoul sing in Graveyard while Phantom is singing I find that really annoying. but overture and the auction and all they're amazing imo, we get to see those pieces later as we watch the performance specially the monkey. I like that they tell us what happened to the chandelier as well and how it consider to be a ghost story and not real now. and for his disappearance at the end I love that too, I mean again it's his magic tricks and inventions , The man made weird sh!t for life ofc he's gonna make trap door and escape path everywhere just in case. and don't forget he wants people to be afraid of him and see him as ghost so ofc he's gonna make all these things that give the illusion of oh someone is here but not really who's there no one ow so it's ghost and fuel those delusions by inventing things, I love the 2023 Italian version as well he went under the bed and everyone thought ow he's on the bed dead and they took the sheet and bam nothing was there even tho it seemed like he was under the sheet.

I've uploaded silent films on KZbin, but much obscurer ones with no "real"* composed soundtracks. I uploaded them silent. Though I could have put public domain music, I detest how it would never be exactly synchronized or how difficult it would be to transition music from different scenes without badly editing it (that's not my forte). Maybe I'm a snob, but no music was better than ill-fitting music imo and anyone could apply their own music if they wanted music. To my surprise, I got complaints about that; even one person saying they left my better quality video to finish with a lower quality one with haphazardly placed music. It's very much surprised me that people wanted me to put ill-fitting soundtracks, when they could literally put anything they want in the background if they didn't care about it matching. * technically, there are soundtracks but they're all made of experimental, indie artists who composed a soundtrack for their own tastes/ego rather than *actually* composing for the film, or even attempting to compose something similar to the time period of the film (it's post-modern experimental sound, not what a cinema pianist could or would have played). There's rarely any effort to participating to the storyline. It's kind of sad.
