LETS SPREAD SOME SLURRY - NEW HOLLAND T7 210 - HISPEC - SLURRYQUIP

Following on from the last video when HSAG were using their umbilical system to empty our main slurry tank. We've got our HiSpec 3000 gallon vacuum tanker and Slurryquip 10 meter dribble bar on the New Holland T7 210 to begin applying slurry to the outer fields.

Love Joskins with that hot dip galvanise Steele tank with 12m dribble it’s only a tri with about 10,000ltr tank but we use a neighbours massive pit that has to shrink enormously! Great vid and good luck for good season ahead

Is the slurry enough fert units for optimal grass growth or do u have to add other fert or additives to get a better yield? Not much slurry used in Australia so interested in the benefits.

Great video and an awesome thumbnail. Did Mrs Saunders take that? The trailer restoration reminds me to start to get on with sorting my little trailer project. I got what I think it a 3 ton metal tipping trailer for my fordson major. It needs some welding but I haven't welded before and want to learn. My mrs got me a new hydraulic pipe from work for the ram which i have already fitted.

As far as I know u shouldn't switch macerator on first as it needs the slurry to lubricate it

You would need to leave it a lot longer than a few seconds without any liquid before you have any problems. Half an hour with no flow results in enough heat to melt the pipes attached to the macerator.

Times have moved on from sticks at the end to mark out, it's far more efficient to use autosteer on a job like that.

@@GeorgeSaunders yes I know George with cost of everything told farmers can with good auto steer can save the cost of it on tractors etc in one year. Just like to think all my years of driving a tractor no cab ‘ no auto steer wasn’t wasted lol
