I agree, we need better leaders, but I'm still thankful for the beauty of California. The devastation in L.A is unreal and still happening. This will have affects on the rest of the state, and most likely ripple affects across the country. I am just thankful, so far, no one has tried starting fires in my area.

Hi Lance, new viewer here. Where do you mount your camera during your rides? Chest rig? Great footage. Safe riding!

I use a Gopro mounted on my chest. I mount the Gopro upside-down so the angle of view is not to high. It also puts the camera closest to the center line over the bars.

Lance, is your area less prone to the type of catastrophe that now affects the L:A area? Or have you guys been fortunate? I was thinking of you when I saw the news.

Yes we are prone, but nothing like the L.A. and San Diego areas. The seem to get the really bad Santa Anna winds since just to the east of them is desert. To the east of us is the Sierras. So far we have been lucky, but it is just a matter of time. We dont live that close to the foothills so we are safer then most. But I guess you can say, never say never.
