Love, love, love the hair cut. Uncle Funkie’s Daughter is my favorite styler for my wash and go. Wash and go has been my protective style for over 10 years. My kinky gray hair is very long and thick. My combination styler is Uncle Funky and I put Wetline extreme on top of it. I have a slight crunch on day1 but it loosen up on day 2. I dry my hair with the Dyson, the diffuser and I come back with one of the direct tools to get my roots, then I use the cool shoot. I’ve never seen the orange one nor the case to store the dryer. I’ll have to go on their site. Love you and have been watching since you use to have your other nephew in your lap or in the room. I use to love when he would walk around in your heels. May God continue to bless you and your business as well as your family.

What do you think about a lot of the black American hair professionals saying oils and butters are bad for the hair? Most say just shampoo, condition and style (with gel/mousse). I have to be honest ever since I (hesitantly) followed their tips my hair has been thriving and my scalp hasn't been itchy. No oils no leave ins no hair creams 😭 so much money I have saved because of this.
@Imani..3 жыл бұрын
Girl yes I’ve been doing this and washing my hair 3-5 days and it’s more moisturized feels better curls popping and scalp less itchy.

@@Imani.. Yess girl curls popping like they never have before! I didn't even know my curls were capable of being so defined. And washing hair taking 20 mins when it used to take me hours 😭 I thank God for the knowledge. KZbin hair gurus did us dirty with some of their bad advice. Uncle Funky's is also my favorite gel. It has a fair amount of glycerine in it which can exacerbate the swelling of the hair in high humidity. I also love love love the eco super olive oil gel. It gives me awesome curl definition, has crunch (which I like) but doesn’t dry my hair. It’s great. Seven days later and my wash n go still looks good. I also like the uncle funky’s and I agree with your take on it but I don’t use it consistently because of the lack of hold. I have been doing wash n go’s for months and I now prefer it to twist outs. Simplicity is now what works for me.

This video came in clutch! I'm on the same journey and line of thinking - keeping my hair in twisted protective styles for over a year now has resulted in wonderful growth, but edge breakage, so with the warmer weather I'm switching to wash and gos, with light stretching to avoid single-strand knots, as I also still want to retain my length. I can't wait for your wash and go process video - you make it sound so simple! Curly Magic is my favourite plant gel, but still experimenting with it also for my wash and gos now. Jacob and Eli are both so 😍🥰! Gorgeous skin runs in your family, I would love an updated makeup routine for this look, I'm wondering if you're still using the Nars Tinted Moisturiser for your base?

Thanks Laila for this detailed video. Your nephew is so cute but you can tell he is under the weather. Hope he recovers soon As of now, I can no longer finger detangle. If I do, my hair will mat from the root the the tips and I will get fly always. I am afraid to use any tangle teasers too. I just use a wide tooth comb every 2 weeks and brush the roots. I have a steamer and 1st time I used it I can tell I have been missing out. Love it. Question How often it is safe to use a steamer? I have fine, low porosity, low to medium density. Nape hair bra strap length Thanks for your input
@Grace_Zandile973 жыл бұрын
My hair tangles at the roots also especially crown area which seems to have breakage due to high porosity and the rest of the hair is low porosity. I'm also using the comb every two weeks and got a face steam which I am using for hair also.
