You've put together a truly impressive line of equipment, not to mention the dually, fuel trailer and now the goose-neck trailer! From the '350' on down, a line that compliments each need for all types of projects. You can truly feel a sense of pride but it still all hinges on your inate talents of machine operation, dedication to quality work and obvious good business sense.

This has been a very entertaining project to watch. I’m looking forward to what you have planned next. It always amazes me that you can take a pile of dirt full of wood scraps and by the time you’re done putting your final touches on it all that junk disappears. I know that Brian is extremely pleased with the final product.

My assumptions were wrong. I thought this was going to be a patch job and then move on. Remembering back what it all looked like when test holes were dug, no comparison, same as looking at two different planets. This was a big undertaking. Just in case you forgot, I had my laser set up, it's all looks good from here in Northeastern Canada.. Great job Chris.

Another LetDig18 transformation from problems to beautiful end. And another we can follow through Brian's channel to see it fill and the grass to pop and green up. Much like Bealy's project I now have another channel to follow so even more time on the Tube. Great job on this one Chris. Somehow I get the feeling we all will be back for more work in the future. Not repairs, but new areas of expansion and fixing other problems for Brian. Time will tell. Brian has his work cut out for him spreading a lot of dredged top soil and doing beaver control. I wonder if he moved down to that other lower pond for now? They really hate giving up and moving though. Very territorial.

If anyone goes to this trouble with seeding and strawing you should also throw down fertilizer and soil amendment which helps more with micro and macronutrients since this soil will be lacking in that.
@yowser87806 сағат бұрын
IMHO: Partner up with a manufacturer and develop an excavator roller for grass seed. Should be pretty easy to perfect with your equipment/expertise at grass seeding.

Chris, Should’a told him you can pick up an egg without breaking it 😂😂. He wouldn’t have believed you.
@robertgeorgewerner6 сағат бұрын
Have you thought about making an attachment for the excavator that could make the ridges that catch the grass seed when you toss it out on slopes? I think you could still get the compaction benefit from some sort of a roller that you could go up and down the slope with and yet it might be faster to use the excavator because of course your tracks could be perpendicular to the slope.

Hey Chris another nice pond job,i was wondering when you were blading the back edge of the pond it looked quiet a sharp angle how do you know if its to much angle asin (rolling the dozer) i asked dirt perfect he said its built into the seat ,do you agree😅😅 IT ALWAYS LOOKS DANGEROUSLY STEEP HERE AT HOME Kym AdelAIDE
@markpashia70675 сағат бұрын
And now Brian prays for rain to come gently. Once the green grass grows he will want downpours to fill the lake faster. Hope he gets the soft and gentle to establish the grass and get erosion control in place.

Instead of tracking in the whole backside of the dam, why don't you just seed it Hay mulch it,and then roll it? rolling It drives it down into the top soil and gives the seed something to hold on to and my opinion. You wasted a lot of time, money and effort. Tracking it in just for the grass seed. When clearly all you have to do is roll it after it's mulched with hay
@donaldtriumph16826 сағат бұрын
Looked like straw to me. Just saying cus if you don’t know the difference between hay or straw then you don’t know much at all.
