It's such a pleasure to watch someone with your skill and work ethic move big stuff around. I only worked a few years in landscaping and only with hand-tools, though we did take down some big trees too but I can relate to the satisfaction at looking back over a hard day's work in the evening and fixing problems. These also work great to calm my anxieties.

*I've never worked with heavy equipment so I'm truly amazed how much power the 250 has when it's breaking up trees. I wish I could hire Chris for my backyard project. Thank you Chris for the daily videos. I look forward every day for a new video.*

I know very little about construction and even less about excavators, but what fascinates me about these videos is the effortlessly natural way that Chris operates the machines. Watching the bucket and thumb move is like watching an animal feed, with Chris's joystick inputs so incredibly fast and nuanced it's as if he's just moving his own arm. Pretty sure he could use that 48" bucket to pop a bottle of champagne or caress a daisy.

The amount of power in that machine is simply awesome. Go out in the yard and grab a hold of a 1” sapling and try to rip it out of the ground. This thing is crunching through branches a foot or more around like tooth pics! Great content!

You know a machine is heavy when you can see the camera vibrate some when the machine is moving around like 100ft away. Have always been impressed with the 250's power, especially when it can pluck bigger trees out like they're weeds in sandier soils. Good to see it back in action.

The 1st big pine tree that you took down, and it was falling toward the camera...I actually hurt my neck trying to get out of the damn way, and you knocked me over with the wind from it anyway! lol. Then after I recovered, you took the 2nd one down, and I was trying to dodge flying pine cones! Almost as good as having a virtual reality headset on!! hahaha

Looks like a great plan! My friend over north of Amarillo, Tx complained his natural springs dried up and his creek that used to flow had dried up and never came back. Now droughts are common there and it’s arid, but the springs would keep the creek flowing. In the rainy season it was full but then it would die off once the rains were gone. He learned that it was the trees causing it. Salt Cedars soak up several gallons a day. They’re kind of a scrappy tree and he cleared them all out. The springs flowed nicely and the creek went back to its normal flow. Trees can affect bodies of water for sure!
