I'm 71 and just invested in my first ipad. I bought the 12.9 pro. I discovered your site while doing a search for Procreate tutorials and am so glad I did. I have a steep learning curve to follow. I'd like for you to tell me everything I need to know about downloading color palettes from colorhunt. As I say I'm old and need to have instruction from the very beginning.

How’s your art going today? If you haven’t found out how to get colour palettes in procreate yet, the easiest way is to split the screen (using the 3 dots on the top) and on one side the site you’re trying to get the colour palette off of and the other side procreate, on procreate open the colour palette tab, from the site on the other side, tap and hold the colour palette and drop it onto the colour palette tab in procreate. If the thing you’re trying to get the colour palette of isn’t a picture, it won’t work. But no worries! You can take a screenshot of it (by pressing the Lock button and a volume button at the same time) and importing it into procreate, and inserting it into the canvas by clicking on the wrench icon and clicking on the “Add” section, click “insert photo” and select the one with the palette. You can make your screenshot smaller by clicking on the small preview when you first take it. When Your screen goes white and a little mini version appears in the bottom corner, if you click the preview it will open up your screenshot, on the edge of every corner there’s white tabs. You can drag those to make it smaller, then hit “done” and click “save to photos” I’m Sorry nobody has helped you for 2 years, I only just found your comment

Excellent teaching style! When you explain why the tentacle dots need to be smaller towards the tip, that's the kind of info we newbies need, and I haven't found in other KZbin artists. It sets you apart, in my opinion. Keep that coming!

Again, brilliant tutorial that shows how awesome Procreate is! I have been using this technique myself in the last few weeks to create a series of characters but you have definitely given me some cool tips here to improve my work such as the alpha lock and the freeform tools. Super cool! I also need to use layers more. Thanks man! 👍

Great video. Some many times I am unable to draw what I want because the process of using Procreate gets in my way. I may not draw many monsters, but this was a great video for helping me work with so many of the commands and how they work together.
@BeeJayDeL5 жыл бұрын
For sure! You don't necessarily have to draw something like this; just use the concepts and the tools to create your own designs!

This may sound silly, but could you list the hexes of the colors you used? I'm colorblind and can't trust my eyes to just find the same pallet on color hunt. I realize I can make the character whatever color I want, but color can be stressful in my situation.

How can I use the color I chose (from Color Hunt ) in Procreate? :(
@gabz911103 жыл бұрын
I have never used the app and you start the video with adding a color palette without showing how you did it... kind of makes it hard to follow for a complete beginner. Any suggestions?
