You can make crazy potions using a potion muffler too. Set some wixies up to combine them automatically and it’s a source uh… source as well.

Yeah, definitely recommend building a cheese chamber for those gateway pearls. It will keep you alive and prevent the world from being set on fire.

Similar to your XP Obelisk, you should have a Fluid Obelisk that you can hook up to tanks and have it keep a certain amount of fluids (like lava, water, potions, etc) in your fluid items when you're in range. That'd be a nice way to keep your bow potions topped up since it seems like a pretty integral part of the mod, and automating brewing isnt that tough.

Dire never goes backward 3rd person camera, so you know he knows he really really messed up with that potion stand lmao. the potion effects for the arrows is pretty sweet, makes them usable honestly. wish we had Botania, having multi-use potions (effectively allowing you to stack them) is so useful.

Dire, you should create a basin that you can pipe law into and pull obsidian from. The basin will allow you to put your armor/weapons into to fix.

2:00 Correct, you are not handling Netherwart properly when you are "bonemealing" crops. That's why it's not growing fast like the rest. Netherwart isn't a CropBlock, StemBlock nor any of the explicit blocks you handle, so that function isn't doing anything to Netherwart.

Wixies can easily automate potions for you. You can keep some in stock for your bow that way. Also there is a worn notebook inside your spellbook.

@@SummitSummit Wixie brewing is actually pretty easy, but a little unintuitive. They need a nearby bottle of essence, and you need to use a wand of dominion on their cauldron and a nearby chest with the materials in it, and also right click the cauldron with the item you want them to make (so you need to find or make the potion first). They don't need water as they produce it themselves and they will fill a nearby potion bottle with their results. Locking the bottles is essential as they will fill any nearby with whatever that specific one is trained to make. I usually use 2 wixies for awkward potion production and then have a group on the far side of the awkward potions doing the rest of the brewing so theres no chance of the base two touching other poition bottles and flooding me with too much awkward potion cause something bugged out.

Love your videos Dire, and seriously adoring the mod. Considering how much I adore your mod, I hope someone makes a compatibility mod, or you yourself add a few specific compatibilities that would be great. Just Dire Things materials robes for Iron's Spells and Spell books and/or Ars Nuveau, so you can apply armor upgrades to them and still get the spell bonuses (maybe even some spell casting specific upgrades), and a Dire materials knife from Farmer's Delight with upgrades that give it a slaying effect and butchering effect (instant kill and looting bonus for mobs with food drops only on a white list). Also for yourself for the future, a silent step upgrade that works like sneaking for wardens, and maybe some kind of blind sight upgrade for the helmet that makes things glow when subject to the Darkness effect.

19:51 Likely a blaze projectile from before with the gateway, one of them (the projectiles) must have flew off in that direction until it was too far to load anymore. Then you loaded it in again

Evilcraft is the best way to get fortune in the pack. You can get a fortune five pickaxe with the vengeance pickaxe and then take the enchantment off with the purifier to put on the Justdirethings pick.

@@SummitSummit to be fair he spent like zero time on the actual mod and could have 10x his mana pool with a little bit of investment into the mod and he could be spell slinging and not require any other ranged weapon. i still like that he didn't because he got to show his cool bow with potion effects which looks quite fun to mess with.

Another option is Easy Villagers mod + Pneumaticraft pressurized chambers for exp-free enchanting and disenchanting. Addition to that, you can craft some EvilCraft Vengeance Pickaxe and took its Fortune V into books than combine it in anvil. 8 of them makes Fortune 8 which is max.

Honestly, the way faster method would be thru evilcraft, use tomes of scrapping on the vengeance pickaxe to get fortune 5, IIRC it doesn't keep the curse of vengeance, so that saves you on levels and anvil uses. Its just a grind for all those diamonds and blood.

Netherwart hasn't needed darkness to grow in _many_ minecraft versions. And the reason Netherwart isn't growing fast on Dire's soil is his fault. He's not handling them in the function that actually *does* the growing in his mod, so they are growing at their normal rate.

Adjustment for JustDireThing's tools and armors, maybe them unusable when they get down to 0 durability, like the gear just stops working until it can be repaired. Maybe make it more expensive to repair once broken but cheaper than making new ones.

Source gem automation101 place a single drawer down, place the apparatus on top and another drawer on top of that. Put a push upgrade in the top drawer and a pull upgrade in the lower drawer. Put a stack (or more ..or less) of lapis in the top drawer....go do something else .... come back and source gems will be waiting.
