Man, the 2nd story hits close to home for me. I had a similiar experience, though mine happened in my early teens over Warcraft 3 clan chat. I was a stupid and depressed kid and a small group in our clan of about 20 regular people decided to pull a prank on me. They had one of the girls message me, pretend to get close, and act like we were in a relationship. It went on for about a month, and the whole time the girl shared all the stupid stuff with the rest of the small group and they had a good laugh at my expense. I only found out cause the clan leader who was a genuinely nice guy caught wind of it and told them to tell me and apologize or he'd kick them out. The girl who had pretended to get close to me was one of the ones who apologized, and when I asked her why she had a similiar answer for me as the guy in the 2nd story, cause it was funny. I ended up leaving the clan shortly after cause I was too embarrassed to show my face... or rather username I guess. It was never anything serious but it's still embarrassing remembering how naive and stupid I was. And it might seem silly but the whole thing did hurt when I was younger and caused me to have trust issues for a while
